The insurance industry is why healthcare is outrageously expensive. Doctors don't set the prices, the insurance industry does. If the infrastructure of insurance and lobbyists went away, people could afford to pay for their own healthcare. The idea that getting the government involved is going to lower costs is beyond ludicrous.

It would be nice if we can all have healthcare but thats not the case because its to high. I remember when my dad had insurance for about 150 bucks a month for a famliy of 7 but that is not the case today. I pay three times what my dad had to for all of us and i dont even have kids and im in good shape but thats the cost because so many others dont have it.
