@Ascutneyman put back the thing that sticks in the front that drag says causes jams at 3:57. it sets up a blocker to keep the dart chambered and it is not the reason the recon jams a lot

Wow, he does everything completely different then me. I use a screwdriver and slowly drill out the AR with that, I use scotch tape instead of epoxy to cover the hole. I also use Felt that is designed to be used for the feet of furniture, cut it to a specific size and stick into the plunger using the adhesive that is already on it.

Or at least, that is how you do it when you are BROKE.

@50m3L3b0 It really depends on HOW stuck it is, maybe you could try useing a flat head screwdriver to pry it off, or if you don't care about the jam door you could just use a pliers (not needle nose) to cut the bar that holds the door in, thats all i can really think of hope i helped anyway :P , nerfguyofnerfgrid

for the compressor i used a long screw driver and a rubber mallet to nock it out. place the flat piece on the ground and make sure not break the part sticking out. alos dont pound the heck out of it.

if you saw off the end of the black tube at the back, you can still put on stocks and it lets the plunger slide forward at a slightly faster rate.

@KyleMorelli Thats because you did something wrong, go look inside and down the plunger to see if you left a part of the plastic uneven, if you drill in the wrong spot it can cause the air released into the dart to be fired at an angle into it, causing allot of innacuracy. Practice makes perfect.

Hey @lordDraconical - I modded my kids gun and i had to take it back apart because the slide won't go backward. It has a little push-down angled part on the slide and it's getting stuck on the inner bodywork whenever it's brought all the way forward to fire. Once i fire it, it won't slide back. A small, 1/4 x 1/4 spring flew out on me when I went back in to try and fix the slide. Not sure if that has something to do with it but i could use some help. thx

instead of epoxy, why not just wrap it up with tape? duct tape or clear packaging tape, i just put packaging tape on mine and it tested it for airflow, works perfectly. just a little advice for anyone who doesn't want to wait 10-15 minutes.

Do not remove the blocker in the barrel. it may cause you a headache one in a while, but it is needed. It pushes the dart back into the chamber. After it pushes it back, it retracts and sometimes causes a jam. the dart will just pop out the barrel when you push the cocking mechanism forward. Do not remove it!

I found a good way to remove the AR. I take a flat head screwdriver and pounded it in. I repeated the process until the AR and spring came out through the breech. Once I did that, I cut down a Super Slider and used that LocTite Super glue gel yo use, then used the back of the bolt to push it into the plunger tube, and presed it down.

@cjpunish same. The piece on the slid that presses down and has 2 small screws in it has a small spring in it. Cut that spring down 2-4 rings.

@JackAndRizoGunSmiths Yes, and ergo, ranges. Air is an infinite source, and Nerf guns are spring-air (the spring pushes a plunger which pushes air into the dart chamber), so it could hurt someone from pointblank. So, Nerf put an air restrictor into their guns to slow down the airflow.

Ok, awesome, love ur vids, and i know they work because i modded my barrel break off of one, but whenever i put the cover back on and screw it together, the cocking slide gets jammed and the part that pushed down inside it (it's really small and on the end of the rail under the barrel) doesnt lock down and therefor stops the cocking slide from moving forward. I will keep trying to fix it but would you plz be able to help with this? thx :D
