The guns being shot in this video are not 5.45x39 AK-74s. They never made the drums for that model of gun. But they did make the Krinkov in 7.62x39mm and those are the drums that they would take. The 5.45 drum never made it into production, only made a few prototypes.

and the 5.45 copied the american (and later nato) 5.56. Its all the russians have ever done copied something that works changing it a little bit and calling it their own.

The '74 drums, however, have a 100 round capacity, rather than the ~75 round capacity of the '47 drums. They never really saw service, as the RPK-74 was issued with the 45-round magazines.
