  • Cool Fiat.

  • This man's voice is so bad. Please get another host. Damn.

  • it the ost wonderful jeep ihave seen

  • Stealing ideas from Land Rover. XD

  • Sounds to me like they've made a really good vehicle here. Only thing I don't like about the 2011 JGC is the rear end. Instead of having the square tail lights on the outer corners they've gone to the wrap-around look with the tail lights expanding laterally onto the rear door. That makes it look like every other SUV on the highway and I like a Jeep to look like a Jeep so that you know immediately what you're looking at.

  • I love my 2010 JGC. comfortable leather seats! Great ride. I have had it in the mountains through the sage brush and pines. It climbs like a billy goat. Mine is the 5.7L Hemi. Mine looks like a Jeep which I like. Only time will tell if it is a good investment. I will be keeping mine for a while. I can't comment on other SUV's because I have not owned any of them.

  • @thebigcougar It is a 'lugged' S.U.V. Which means a rugged luxury S.U.V which in my opinion blows every other S.U.V out of the water. Jeep is the last company that makes a literal Sport Utility Vehicle.

  • nice

  • Too bad Chrysler forgot to put in a battery light or voltage gauge - if your battery dies you'll never know - I guess the reviewer up top missed that little fact when he tested the car and all it's features. - see the full story at carquestions channel

  • @carquestions He's not only the "reviewer," he's the lead design engineer for the vehicle. I find it hard to believe they would omit an important gauge like that. I have a voltage gauge in my 1996 Grand Cherokee. If they didn't put one in the newest version, shame on them.

  • they ruined it with the independent suspension.......

    Ain't no jeep no more.....

  • We were the first family to Switzerland in the jeep

  • @loooift so we were the 1st with 300c touring srt hemi in europe

  • looks great from the front, sadly the rest is utterly uninspiring. The interior is a monumental let down, very generic looking. Would much rather go for a 7 seater award winning Disco 4 (or LR4) far better value for money. I like the starting price, as has always been with Jeep, makes great sense if you live in the USA 'man'.

  • damn gorgeous car...this car is what rich drug dealers suppose to use in movies or series...

  • I hate the new look, I don't like the way the side windows shrink as it gets to the rear. I would have traded my jeep in for one if it wasn't for that.

  • I'm not a fan of Jeep, But this model looks Good. There have been many improvements in this car. It seems to suggest that the last 2-3 models were Not much Chop, If every thing needed to be Upgraded. And how sweet that boys at Benz had to show them how to keep it on the road> anyway, Nice car. Still prefer the Cayenne.

  • Jeep has copied land rover the best off road car corperation in the world. Jeep can suck land rover big dick

  • WATCH:`.FREE;`;MOVIES,;,ONLINE!;:,

  • He says that an independent front and rear suspension is a good thing. My ass! That just made it as crappy as a compass or patriot. Jeep needs to stay solid front axle and keep a 4wd system in every vehicle. They should scratch the compass and patriot, built a truck, and get back to the roots. I love the xj models from the past. Sad to say land rover and subaru are the only company's sticking with 4wd and awd.

  • @Bamfxj I don't see why you're complaining. This truck is more capable than competing models from Land Rover of Subaru and it's got an opulant interior.

  • @kdaviper opulant?! dull is the word you're looking for. And the whole Terrain Response copy thing that all non-Landy manufacturers are attempting is pretty pathetic. They should have gone down the Auto adjust route and left it at that, at least they would have a unique selling point. A car that is more machine and less computer gadgetry is rare to come by these days.

  • @RiegoLegend Landrovers are overpriced, look like shit, and have half the capability of a Jeep.

  • @kdaviper Wow, you sound like an idiot!

  • @Bamfxj land rover are now doing 2wd Freelander (LR2) and 2wd Range Rover Evoque. These are sad times. But if that's what it takes to bring in the dosh to make range rover and discovery (LR4) better then so beit. Still pretty shameful though.

  • like this jeep, but on the other hand i would like to see a comparsn btwn

this jeep and the best THE NISSAN PATROL,oh i forgot u dont get it,dont u...

  • too much chrome.

  • old cherokee models are shit. this one might stick. test drove one and like it. it shares the underpinning with Benz's new ML. But when you put all options in it and price starts to go up.... u start thinking.... umm should i buy japanese.....

  • @kaunghtut you are a idiot they are still using the 4.0 in rally trucks. jeep might not have the big name name but they always was in the comp!

  • @nathankg1 yeah go back to driving your crappy hyundai grocery POS car.

  • @alroyt i am guessing you are american, all american cars are crappy!... i drive a range rover... and if you knw cars you'll knw that this is one of the best SUVs!!!excuse me for voicing ma opinion!!!

  • @nathankg1 range rover all day every day!!

  • @nathankg1 Your toy rover sucks

  • @Reaper6BR did u say toy??? obviously u knw nothing bout cars!!! wat SUV do u rate as the best???

  • @nathankg1 Anything but toy hovers

  • @nathankg1 so why are you watching a video that is all about the new one?

  • Chevy Silverado ad followed by a Jeep video... that may have just made my night

  • To Phil: you said you talked to ppl who didn't buy the Grand Cherokee... but you didn't mention one reason why they did not buy -- they don't trust the reliability of your products, which you did not address in this video

  • This thing looks really sexy and has a lot of good ideas in it...I would be really curious to see how it really comes together off road though. Doesn't look like something you would take into your home garage and start doing suspension upgrades on, which I would think is kind of important for something branded as an off-road vehicle. Also not sure how I feel about the independent rear suspension.

  • @avengful dude....they're gonna make the diesel engines for these sweet babies and if you know something about cars then you'll realize that they're gonna ruin the brand (at least here in europe because i don't think you buy diesel jeeps in the U.S.)

  • bella...muy bella...la leyenda continua !!!

  • Toyota land cruiser and VW tourge can beat the Cherokee, but i would prefer the grand Cherokee only if there is SRT8 engine under the hood, otherwise , i wont accept it .

  • times when grand cherokee was a class it self have passed by, now grand cherokee is a ml/x5/cayenne wannabe car :( so sad!

  • old Grand Cherokee the BEST !!!!

  • so much for Just Enough Essential Parts

  • Nissan Xterra and FJ Cruisers rip it apart on offroading..Look at that terrain dial..dial..

just look at th esize of it and design of it.. like a washing machine dfial geeez..

  • HEY this isnt 2011

  • Nice Car....

  • So Jeep have simply tried to copy some features from the Landrover Discovery 3......

    Mmmmmm.

I still would never buy a Jeep.

    Not for me thanks.

  • Nice design, looks like it could compete with the European market.

  • YouTube find: Jeep Promo San Diego Indie Pop 4 man band uses 4 Jeeps.See their "quasi" commercial for Jeeps on YouTube. Watch at Pullman Standard Jeep commercial.

  • bring back the XJ

  • Your best work sir. Was the Srt-8 Beast.

  • @cobolt13 Not by a long shot, that car is ugly as hell, very low for its category, among other crap about it.

  • @jozeaphe No. Just No. If you like the car above, I hate your soul.

  • @cobolt13 You must be so dumb.

  • @jozeaphe Says the guy that picks this... What ever the fuck this is over one of the fastest productions [stock] 4 by 4's ever made. So good logic there.

  • @cobolt13 Still better than your ugly STR8 now jog on kiddo. I'm done with you.

  • @jozeaphe Enjoy looking like a douche in a little and effectively a hatch back. Whilst I'm in a 6.1 Hemi V8.

  • EEEEEEW not Jeep at all, it looks like something that KIA would give us.... disgusting.

  • yea KIA can't go where the Grand Cherokee can go. This Jeep is sick

  • finally they come with a nice product worth the name of Jeep. The current Patriot-Compass-Liberty and previous GCherokee are the worst in class.

  • @carlssonlsk

Agreed. Here's hoping they won't screw this one up.

  • I will support Jeep till' the day I die. Performance, luxory, and quality. Only issue I see for the new cherokee is the rear styling. Looks like the back of a Honda Crv. Sexy other than that.

  • i hope they make an srt8 version of this one

  • Fuck Norway and its car taxes. Full spec version of the new grand cherokee with the 5.7 V8 costs the same as an Toyota Auris here. If i import that car it would cost me about 229,275 USD.

  • @sandrew6000 Gotta pay for that free health-care lol.

  • @georgio941 Youre right ;) its just the V8 scrambling my brains.

  • can you get it in a manual transmission on the 2011 or no? i hate auto stick.. am old school.

  • @prayb4udie

I wish, but I think they are going to stick with just the wrangler having the stick shift :/

  • @YOURMOMSMOMSDADSMOM oh... that sucks i love having a clutch and shifting the gears not just moving this stick side to side

  • @prayb4udie

Me too, I'm glad they updated the wrangler's interior though, it is pretty nice now, and I love six-speed manual's. Either a wrangler 6speed or a Subaru for me :)

  • This looks like a great machine and is beautiful inside. I just hope that Jeep remedied some of the reliability problems they've had since 1999. I have a 1996 JGC, one of the first generation of them, and although it's primitive by today's standards it's still running great at 166,000 miles and never gives me a problem. The last two models of the JGC have been notorious for bad window motors, engine stalling issues, and other failures. Let's hope this new model has improved reliability.

  • Didnt range rovers always have that option since like the 90's? o-o (Not Hatin)

  • @ShadowBoarder33 land rovers cost a hell of a lot more then a jeep!

  • Haha the back of these grand cherokee's look like fat ass minivans.. Sorry ill keep my Niner ZJ

  • Comment removed

  • I like this presenter and its good to see him enthusiatic about his product. I wish I had one of these vehicles!

  • @geordo2001 Yes, he does seem proud of the new model. That's Phil Jansen, the lead design engineer for the new JGC.

  • this guys a tool

  • I really like this Jeep, wasn't biggest fan of the previous versions front end but this looks great in the video and even better in person. Really looks like a modern version of the first two generations.

  • Very very kool

  • i would still take a land rover over this, but this is nice to.

  • @296jayce This is as good as SUVs come. Do remember to test drive a Cherokee before you go for a Rover.

  • why all the people is comenting thsi people say bad things about the grand cherokke 2011? it beautifull idioots you are all and stupid ignorants

  • And how much do you have to pay for all of this. And still have confidence to buy, from a Company or Group (Chrysler LLC) that is almost forgotten, because they could never get anything right. To bad Chrysler ruined the Jeep brand. Wish it was like the good old Jeep.

  • @Zinizzle

So your Saying the ZJ was a bad Jeep ? Or the WJ ? I agree the newer Jeeps IMO suck, but Crysler did good on the ZJ's. the original and best Grand Cherokee

  • The more I see the newer vehicles from Jeep, the more I like my 95 Cherokee.

  • if i would get the chance i would try my best to design a better jeep because i own a 2001 jeep grand cherokee colorado 4x4 and its awsome lol but what i hate its that alwayz everytime the front twitters keep blowing

  • Its unfortunate that the new Grand Cherokee has lost its Electronic Limited Slip front Differential making not unlike many of the current SUV offerings presently on the market.

  • this new Jeep has unfortunat

  • 16 city and 23 highway? That's IT?

  • if you only see the rear, it looks like a hyundai... :(

  • i like it. especially interior cos normally in american car interior sucks (with all my respect) but this one looks amazing!!! diesel offered? how much

  • they copyed the rangerover like no other!

  • @o0iGzAlpHa0o There would be no Hummer or Rangerover if the Jeep had not been invented. Rangerovers suck man, they break constantly, not something I'd go offroading in.

  • @o0iGzAlpHa0o wtf man. jeep didn't copy rangrover. rangerovers suck and are horrible quality.

  • @Hummers222 Hahaha what!? are you out of your mind? Land Rover is horrible Quality? anything European and Japanese was always, built better, and was higher quality then our American shit. Yeah Land Rovers have a lot more to go wrong. But that's with any vehicle. The more in it, the higher chance of something breaking down.

  • @Hummers222 range rovers will beat any allterrian cars out there landrover came up with the snow mud rock settings and rangerover's come with all wheel drive unlike rangerovers which comes with it and the airbags system's on it was on the rangerover first all the jeep is is a offbrand rangerover preety much

  • @o0iGzAlpHa0o Unfortunately, range rovers are among the least reliable of all cars on the road. Also, as far as off road capability, jeep is probably dominant. On a personal note, I hate the styling of the LandRover/RangeRover. That's just a personal opinion though.

  • @o0iGzAlpHa0o I thought Mercedes invented the airbag in the first place.

  • i prefer the - 2011 models.. .

  • Hahaha you're 5 years late, it's a copy of a land rover LR3, I think it's too late for jeep now they should try something new and ORIGINAL all they're doing is what land rover did in 2005 with the LR3

  • I'm A jeep fanatic, and I've owned several models of Jeep. Jeep has maintained its integrity, that being a trail rated vehicle. JGC has never been a cheep car to purchase even back in the days. Price. Maybe more ever than the past. The Jeep were being shown here in in excess of 42 K..now for that type of money I can purchase from a company that has manufactured Luxury vehicles and has been tested and tried and true.

Im not sure exactly what Jeep is trying to accomplish?

  • Why Chryslers become rusty so fast???

  • looks like a rounder 99-04 grand cherokee

  • @arnoldisser ur mom look like a rounder version of ur sister

  • I'd swear thats and up grade of the trailblazer with a jeep logo.

  • If all these new systems work reliably it's a great vehicle but I'm always a little skeptical of too much technology. This has led to lots of problems in Mercedes-Benz, for instance. The more systems the vehicle has, the more things there are to malfunction. The 2011 JGC looks impressive and sounds impressive. My 1996 JGC doesn't have anywhere near that much sophistication. But then again, my '96 is simple, reliable and gets the job done and that's all I really look for in an SUV.

  • Workers at the Jeep Grand Cherokee plant were recently busted for doing illegal drugs and getting drunk during their lunch breaks. Watch the YouTube video titled, "Chrysler UAW workers drinking, smoking weed on the job," at this link:

    /watch?v=SWi6IlmSO_o

The Jeep Grand Cherokee has had a history of safety issues:

"The New Ford Pinto by Chrysler? Jeep Grand Cherokee Fuel Tank Fires"

    /watch?v=h5xEZjW9Zuk

"My 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee after electrical fire"

    /watch?v=5wet5pbIbhU

  • @TranCendenZ Do you really know what you are talking about Dickhead ?

  • Do the Chrysler engineers get drunk and high on their lunch break too or is that just isolated to the UAW workers on assembly line?

I'm not sure which is worse the engineer that designed my kids airbag being drunk on the job or the guy that installed it.

  • I wish that they had added the third row

  • i hope they do an srt model

  • This maybe will sound disappointing. But I prefer my Jeep Cherokee XJ 1999 with its old-fashioned engine, fuel consumption, etc.

I don't like a Jeep which has an Mitsubishi Montero Sport inspired headlights, Audi Q7 windows, Cadillac steering wheel, BMW shifter (for AWD modes), rear of a Toyota Fortuner... the list is huge...

  • @MuerteQuerida totally agree, have the older one too and love it. don't like the looks of the new one at all, especially the interior which seems like a toy playland for kids. the old one was reduced, simplistic, stylish, cool. the new one? even hard to find a word for it.... changing ground clearance is missing on the old one though and good for the new one...

  • wow

  • I prefer round headlights of older Cherokee

  • Never let this guy in front of a Camera again... And remind me again why this Jeep is different from any other jeep again? So, "Now" they figured out how to make a good car, in 2011? Yes let's forget everything we know about American cars and the companies behind them, that's a good idea.

  • 2:48-3:27 Gorgeous vehicle in motion. Can't wait to ge my hands on one of these. Time to retire my 7yr old Japanese SUV and buy American!

  • I want this so bad!

  • BRING BACK THE XJ! NO ONE LIKES THE WK

  • the older one looks like a monster and its cool this one is like the fuckin toyota prado what a shame for jeep

  • @frightman91 it is better then the Explorer, it was built on a van platform.

  • That is bloody nice...On road comfort, extreme off road ability, what more do we need. I willl be ordering mine ASAP... Lowered suspension onroad with 26inch wheels, and 18inch wheels with mud terrain tyres for offroad work and instant 3 inch lift kit. This is what I have been waiting for, suprised to see if from JEEP, but they have nailed this one.

  • I LOVE THIS TRUCK IS THE BEST

  • that model's going to get old FAST, and could that presenter possibly say the word "customer" more often?

  • @LROFFROADdotCOM, I don't think you understand the level of refinement a Jeep has compared to a Land Rover. Jeeps are built with features Land Rovers just can't top. So the air suspension and dial you're terrain setting are'nt going to be comparable to Land Rover crap. They will be much more functional and user friendly. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @avochristian what are you insane? mopar crap isN,t at all on the same level of the new land rovers... btw land rover pioneered the "dial your terrain" feature... they've had it standard on vehicles since 2004

  • @lictor313; I never said Land Rover didn't pioneer the "dial your terrain" feature. I just said that Jeep has a more refined one that gets the job done easier and more efficiently. More than one review has stated that the new Jeep out-performs Land Rover's new vehicle on and off road. I don't see Land Rover coming up with 4x4 systems like quadra-drive, quadra-trac, rock-trac, etc. Jeep pioneered the off-road more than any vehicle on the market. Lictor313, you have no leg to stand on here.

  • @avochristian this was your quote:

"Jeeps are built with features Land Rovers just can't top. So the air suspension and dial you're terrain setting are'nt going to be comparable to Land Rover crap. "

what this comment says to me is that you presume at the very least that jeep will produce better features then LandRover, or rather that land rover can't make air suspension or dial a terrain... on either count what you say is nonsense, how can you expect jeep with thier track record to do BETTER?

  • @lictor313: I was refering to the Jeep Grand Cherokee which has anything but unsophisticated differentials and primitive gearboxes. My Grand Cherokee has Quadra-Drive 2, which transfers power individually from wheel to wheel at a split seconds time. Therefor, if 3 wheels are not getting traction, the 4th wheel can have 100% power to pull it out. I understand that the Cherokee probably does have primitive 4x4 systems. But, they quit making it in 2001. the Cherokee is a good beater for off-roading

  • @lictor313: But, if you want advanced drive-trains and transfer cases, you are going to have to go to the Grand Cherokee. Check out there 4x4 systems on there web site and you will see how advanced they actually are. I checked into Land Rover's site last night and found nothing about special 4x4 systems. They just have the "dial your terrain" feature. Please tell me what Rover you have so we can have a more exact comparison.

  • @avochristian jeep uses very unsophisticated diffs and very primitive gearboxes... they still run on the same two mode 4wd systems from the early 90's...

which Land Rover is that by the way? the Range Ro? the Discovery?

Land rover (while not the best) trances the cherokee in every category, perhaps only the wrangler (with some mods) is capable of beating out a range...

  • Very nice, but you didn't tell my wife her 2007 Grand Cherokee would only get about 13 MPG combined city/highway! She went from a 2000 V8 Mountaineer, thinking the smaller Grand Cherokee would certainly get at least 17 or 18 MPG combined, but ended up with a gas guzzler on par with what a Hummer gets! She has to fill the tank very often, and you can actually see the gas guage significant dip each time we even run just local errands! What a piece of shit!

  • That is fucking tight I'll give the new Cherokee two thumbs up! I can't wait to see how the Srt8 gonna look like!

  • Jeep faces a conundrum not faced by many car makers. On the one hand they are blessed with instant recognition from their vertical barred grill and square bodies. On the other hand this means they can't change the look much while the public always wants a 'new' look. In 1999 they flared out the grill bars slightly, then changed back to vertical a few years later. Now they've shrunk the headlamps. Small styling cues but it's still a Jeep. If it's well-built and reliable it should sell.

  • Can anyone else see a BMW x5 in this?

  • I fuckin' hate all of this new Technology.

  • like a ford edge

  • the current model is much better looking than this new one. i think this front end needs some work that grille with those tiny lights makes no sense

  • looks like GMC =(

  • @themonkeydidit89 Did I say that????? I remember saying that the idea of a turn dial to select your terrain is the a Rip Off of Land Rover. I could care less if it has an air suspension, thats an old technology been in Rovers since 93. I did say this was a nice looking SUV though

  • By the way, I think US Carmakers should change the system how they sell cars. Consumers are sick and tired of all the hassle and cheating that they go thru at the dealerships. The thing i hate most about buying a car is how the salesmen at the dealers approach you and all the genius sales "tactics" they use... Basically they're trying to screw you for more money the whole time. F$%ck with the car salesmen.

  • Just ordered mine....Overland w 5.7L... WoOT!

  • @Savagekid25 No shit.

  • thats the same as all of Europes suvs

  • Why is the Diesel in North America not available ?

  • Well I've got to give Chrysler an 'A' for effort on this one. Looks like they've done their homework and put together a nice vehicle. I'm always a little suspicious of too much technology, as it often means there are more systems to fail and need repair, but if it all works reliably it's a great car for their line-up. I hope they sell a million of them.

  • @OPHIOHANNAH

yeah so much more to go wrong, but i love my 99 jeep and would love to have the new one

  • I feel like Jeep is loosing it's classical jeep look and element and is becoming to much of a luxury company. Maybe it's just me but i like my grandfathers grand cherokee much more cause it still has that classical jeep look

  • @motoxandrew Yeah, I agree......my '96 JGC has a clean, square look to it that tells you right away what it is. It's not fancy but it gets me where I want to go and plows through snow like it isn't even there. I'll keep my old one until it goes to that junkyard in the sky before buying something new for 40k.

  • looks like a GMC and a BMW had a baby...only jeep in it is the grill

  • looks alot like a bmw x5

  • The rear end of the new Cherokee reminds me of a Toyota Sequoia.

  • I also don't like the funky two color steering wheel... what the hell is that?

  • Sorry Chrysler, that ship sailed long time ago... $55-$60K price tag won't do it...

"All passengers, brace for impact" CRRRAAASSSHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @matilibici You should educate yourself before you speak. A fully loaded Overland is priced at $45,000.

  • @matilibici ummmm what are you talking about??? Jeep Grand starts at 33 and goes up to 47

  • @fgulla007 that's what the "online bs price" go ask a dealer see how much they're asking.... add destination, dealer markup, and all the bull charges... see how much you come up with...

  • @matilibici I'm actually Veryy Familiar w/the whole process...Destination is only charged by the Manufacture...and the only fees you're responsible are Tax, Dmv Fees...and yes they do start out at 33,500.....Soo I never heard of a 25 thousand dollar mark up...if the dealer is asking that from you obviously walk away...if you don't need it fully loaded..thats the starting price.....

  • @fgulla007 Look,,,, i was shopping for a car recently,,, anything you see online, add to the base price at least 10k for what you actually pay. The Toyota Venza i wanted to buy, started at 24,995 (base price) and you couldn't find one less than 34K. So base price is all crap... don't believe... bring me a 34K 2011 Grand Cherokee i but 10.

  • @matilibici The base 4x4 E pkg w/cloth starts at 33,500 plus your Tax and local DMV

  • You should have started by not shiping your chrysler plant out of Fenton, Missouri USA to Mexico and putting over 2000 hard working Americans out of work.

Start by bring you entire company back to America down to every last bolt on those automobiles you say are made in USA.

Everyone with 500 miles of St. Louis will know tis commerical is a bunch of crap.
