turntables and mixer are too distant/far for battle or hiphop style djing.

Your comment is absolute true but the layout of our DJ booth was not intended for battle or hiphop style.
It is possible to change the layout for these kind of mixing.

You don't need to nail or screw, all the pieces are milled out of 12 mm MDF and fit together as a giant puzzle just glue it.
