New Found Glory did a fucking awesome job covering Green Day songs. I don't think people understand what a "cover" is. Its not playing the song the exact way it was written. It can mean making it your own. They didn't play everything exactly like GReen Day because they're NOT Green day, but NFG is a tight fucking band. They know how shit gets done.

yea i love how the singer plays the ride for the drummer. ive been playing 10 years and i cant play it the way tre plays it. the ride beat is so much slower, then the beat on the tom snare and bass its kinda fucked up lol

Not bad, but i thought it was funny when the singer goes to play the ride cymbal part on the breakdown. It's quite easy to learn, it's just a rotation between the floor tom and the ride cymbal during eighth notes. The ride is on the quarter and the floor tom is on the *and* beat.
