  • Thats way cool, you know what would be neat is if you made a cube metal box and sealed over that hole and stuffed it with bronzes wool and with a not too small hole on the top you should be able to make it into a really cool HHO candel or even a small cooker for camping or something! I dont know its just an idea, I wonder how much light that would give off if you made it like a propane lantern... Your idea of isolating the cell +- plates in series inspired me, I hope in some way I helped you GBY

  • got to thinkin I should have remembered safty #1 should have sugested to first go threw a bubbler, with a safty blow off cap in case of a back flash, but a tube going to a metal pipe stuffed with bronze wool still could work, I know alot of people make torches, I was just trying to think of something different HHO would be usefull for! Thanks I really injoyed your video!

  • if i use a 12 volt dc and an dc to ac adapter in my car i can use this? if so do i not have loss at the adapter? and heat? but with the lower power reqirements i assume it will help. what are your thoughts.

    thanks

  • can you use this circuit with a small parallel cell config instead of series?

  • Would you mind explaining how you obtained your power source?

  • sorry about the double post, but what about (for pulse) using a 400w car audio amp & a 1Farad capacitor.... of course it wont work unless u bypass the amp's noise filters that cut off after 1khz (not exact), or make a custom amplifier.

my main idea was using a 1 Farad or more bank with 12v into the cell, or into an inductor into the cell. still havent tried it yet, but i might today...

  • hi there, very nice contribution to the Hydrogen experimenters. That circuit is the circuit used by the Mosa Welder, made in Italy.Capacitor discharge system. It's true it never goes HOT. Good research.

  • reading through these commens is quete somthing. This is the fabric politicians should be made of.. WELL DONE ALL OF YOU GUYS!!! keep sharing and never keep for yourself. where there is control there is power, and power leads to corruption. Free to all!

  • i agree!!

  • I invite you to think in terms of Watts, and not just volts. Once we raise the voltage you decrease the amperage by 1/2. So how about thinking about how many WATTS are needed per plate and work it from that thought. I was going to try 48 volts DC with batteries, but did not know how to limit current. Also how about a Kill-A-Watt meter on the AC input side to show how much KWH are used.

    Thanks,

  • Try making a voltage mutiplyer and put it in the place of the cap.

  • A full wave voltage multiplyer, look it up, and give it a try. Replace the cap and the rectifier with the voltage multiplyer.

  • You can do the same thing with an old fashion flouro ballasts from flouro lamps that have starters and it doesnt need to be discharged after it is turned off.

  • Can't you limit the currant by limiting the resistance in the cell thus the amount of electrolite. Say start with distilled water, which will draw vertually no amps, and add electrolite with your amp meter attached until you get the desired amp draw.

  • yes but then you'll need more cells to get the same amount of gas. which would be difficult to fit under the hood of a car

  • outstanding presentation ... thanks ... now I gotta go by capacitors I had no intention of buying to try to replicate your findings ... damn you !!!

  • do what you gotta do man!

The more people that play with these ideas, the more inovations that'll come about.

  • DAMN STRAIGHT!!!!!

  • Great information. Way to keep the heat down and regulate amperage. Heat is our enemy in this process.

  • Hi Tvryb, very inspiring vids. Only for info, the capacitor you're using is oil type. Oil conduct electricity poorly, that's why they use it as a dielectric. Keep up the good work.

  • damn. I thought the oil was just used as an insulator. very promising regarding making my own custom caps. thanks for the info

  • Don't you just hate when an oil capacitor explodes! I have been burned a few times due to silly mistakes. The dielectric breakdown point for oil is high, but damn is it good at generating gases and exploding when you push them past their limits.
