The dark stuff is Worcestershire Sauce, Soy sauce may be a little to salty but you can give it a try, just don't use to much.

If you listen to what I say in the beginning of the Video I say this is how to make Denny's Famous Mushrooms.

This is my very own recipe .

If you want to make just plain boring mushrooms, and you said you want to fry mushrooms, normally I would just use Butter and cook them till they turn brown 10 to 15 minutes.

I think your are referring to the way you cook your mushrooms is called al dente

This is a completely different dish.

Why don't you try it and then if your not pleased with it then you have the right to complain, You dont have to know how to cook to warm up mushrooms.
