I have the first games you mentioned still in very good condition. I even kept the boxes for them. Loved the top two games. Played those so much against my friends. WCW NWO was so good we even made up our own titles and fought for them. Didn't need titles in the game. We just made up our own shit.

Dude I completely agree with you on all of these games. I liked WCW Mayhem but the hit detection on that game is complete crap. It would be cool if WWE released a game based on WCW and it could be called WCW the memories, but I doubt Vince McMahan would ever do such a great thing. @5starwrestlingradio , im a big fan of revenge, and totally agree that it is the best, that game had a dynamic, were if you were being pinned and were out, spirit in dark blue /(danger), if you were a master .....you could rarely .....and i mean rarely kick out, which put so much playiblity in it for me. no game since has had this,

also you guys are wrong about the music, there was two music tracks and one was for the 1st entrance the second was for the second entrance, not faction speciffic

You forgot some. Wcw Thunder was pretty good. Smackdown here comes the pain was great. I actually liked this years Raw Vs Smackdown due to the on going storyline mode. That's the only reason why i bought it. I missed not having it in the other games.

@johnnyfive22 Honestly,I like WCW Thunder for simple nostalgia and sentimental value.Overall Nitro is a weak game.Its the same engine of Nitro with little no improvement on the issues and gameplay of the previous.Its sped up and has an expanded roster but in my opinion,it offers very little replay value.They added weapons,faction allegance and more moves.But nothing that great.I just dont like it all too much

Of course thunder came out when wcw was at it's height in popularity around 1998 or so. The reason why i like Smackdown here comes the pain is because it's storyline mode was great. You can walk around backstage and interact with Jr or Steaphanie and they would have consequences to your storyline mode. I wore that came out.

Love your picks, especially putting Revenge over No Mercy. Revenge really took it to another level and No Mercy benefited a lot form it. Revenge also played a little more smooth on the console than No Mercy, which had major slowdown issues (although emulation has solved that at least).

The one thing I wish they hadn't taken out of No Mercy (can't remember if it was in WM2000 or not) was the combo-system.

to me it was wrestlemania 2000 that i'd considered good for a wwf/wwe game. other than that it was many of the japanese wrestling games. i love the customization/feature of fire pro wrestling.

all these games were great but for me personally smackdown here comes the pain for ps2 just killed it. best wrestling game ever imo smackdown here comes the pain hasnt been an outstanding wrestling game since it except maybe svr 2006 but even that game wasnt outstanding but it was really good. if smackdown hctp allowed u to fight for the titles in exhibition mode like in svr 2006 then there would be no contest
