IThis is the best song that Vanessa has written to date. It not only shows an evolution in her music, but it is accomplished without the loss of the emotion expression that she often tries to achieve in her music. In addition, it emphasizes a characteristic that I find very attractive in people .... reason. This latest album has an appeal that is quite different, and frankly more attractive, than all the other platinum albums she has made.

Heroes and Thieves is still my favorite album because of its upbeat vibe and singability, but Rabbits on the Run is beautiful. While it's a more melancholy album, it also strikes me as the most vulnerable. I love that Vanessa dug deep, even if it's down into her rabbit hole.

Wow... I absolutely love the core of this song but the drums are WAY overdone during the verse. Like... whoah. I've been listening to the live versions for the past year anticipating a studio and I have mostly disappointment for it.

This is the best song on the upcoming album in my opinion. It has the most power and emotion in the music. I'm personally more a fan of the "Harmonium" and "Be Not Nobody" style that Vanessa had. I love how Vanessa mixed dark, emotion, melody, and beauty into one song. "Tall Tales For Spring" has that feel. However, the rest of the album, not so much.
