I'm sorry but if you get gold you should have stayed on the damn apparatus. The whole point of higher difficulty is to take a risk and see if it pays off. Also I think the Russians were robbed at this year olympics. Good routines, nailed for most part and barely a medal to show for it because they stuck to stuff they could actually do well.

I cant beieve she won! Dont get me wrong she a wonderful gymnast, but this was not worth a gold! Bieger should have gotten it. Her double double, and bars are awsome but still, she got something she didn't deserve. But i dont believe she shouldn't have gotten a medal, like the romanians argue, they're just mad because they're totally slippimg away, and they now it. It's sad really!

You need to be a good "all around" gymnast to win the AA gold. Not just good on the Floor... The new scoring system only promotes extreme difficulty at the expense of artistry, choreography and consistency.

It's unbelievable that she won with a fall on beam. What a crock. Who ever heard of taking a fall and being that wobly and still winning gold in gymnastics? Her form wasn't even all that good. Total crap. Nicolae Forminte was totally right...this is crazy. Bring back the old scoring!

Concordo pienamente...è un problema di nazionalità...non sono abituati a vedere campionesse italiane davanti a USA e Est...era sucesso anche quando c'era stato il periodo delle Olandesi...vedremo a Perchino....e poi mi sembra che Vanessa abbia nuovamete dimostrato di essere la migliore!!!!

Many great gymnasts decided to wear a short-sleeve leo during important competition...in particular the Dutch team, and the fantastic Verona Van Der Leur...moreover it's necessary a lot of courage to wear it, because without sleeves the arm's mistakes are pronounced...but probably you aren't a gymnast, otherwise you should have notice that Vanessa is a great gymnast!

She fell, but anyway she did a spectacular beam exercise, and non only...did you see her ub ex? it's perfect and with a incredible speed of execution...the vault isn't her apparatus, but after the rotation of the first 6 she was 1st at vault score...and about floor there is nothing to say!!

Gymnastic is a sport in which fortune have a great importance: you can fall, but if the bests fall too, the competition is still open!
