I got an update! I replaced the 5" rear pulley with a 3.5"! It pulls around 40mph, but i got pulled over by the cops on a test run! Sucks cause I was not allowed to ride it in the street anymore. So i traded it for a nice 1971 Sears 10XL custom 7 with a suburban rear end. Since the rear end was replaced with a different model one, I cannot hook up any brakes, as the current tranny has a band brake, and the old one did not. It needs a full restoration, which I am doing!

I got my pulleys and belts at Tractor Supply. I got the piping to make my custom straight pipe at Agri Supply. I am running a 4.5" on the front and a 5" pulley on the back with a 98 inch belt. Installing the new belt today. Wish me luck!

It's a 16HP twin cylinder briggs.

7.75" pulley on motor and 4" pulley on tranny

to HPJVRBLB44, I'm actually using a crappy transmission for racing. It's a Foote transaxle...it makes it really hard to lower a rear end with one, but it still goes fast haha...And the tires are straight up lawnmower tires haha..unless you're talking about the front tires and wheels which I got at a Go Kart shop!

It's a 16hp Briggs with 7.75" pulley on the motor and 4" on the transaxle. It moves along pretty good, but I'm building another one with a right angle gear box so it can be chain driven.
