Nah I had the gears from a previous circle track car when I used to race I got them for $75 and the crush sleeve was like $2.49. New gears are in the $200 range or so. Not too bad

There is no way you are making that much out of a naturally aspirated 351. No way in hell. I know a kid that has a 5.4 turbocharged mustang and is only putting down 560hp to the wheels. I don't think you realize how much work it takes to make that much power. YOU FAIL!!!

@CTFDROD What exactly are you overlooking? I wasn't trying to be rude but every post makes you look dumber. 500 NA crank HP is EASY out of a stroker 351 with supporting heads and intake. Both of which on mine are close to factory specs. a 5.4 turbo with what like 665 crank HP and a NA 414 have no relation whatsoever! 40 years of technology had better make more power lol. a 5.4 is only 330ci btw so a turbo 414 is an easy 700 dipshit. quit while youre ahead

429 aint much, i once had a 90 Mustang GT with a 302 that had about 440HP and it
was naturally aspirated. car costed under 2.500$ to buy and build and it was built
well.

Show me the motor for one and I will believe it is a 414ci and as far as it having 429hp, I doubt it. Maybe to the crank but I know this car no way has 429 to the wheels.. Man I wish I was in high school again.

@CTFDROD Again, learn to read. It is 429 CRANK HP. If you knew anything about these cars you'd know nobody makes a speedo gear for a C4 in this car with 3.27's this is as close as I could get. Read the posts I explained 3 times the title was just to get you to look. This run is only 120mph. What good will showing you the engine do? There is NO way to tell from the outside in a picture the difference between a 302 and a 351W. 1.3" deck height is the only difference.

You need a new speaker if it sounds like a 6 to you pal. My speedo is off 20 mph due to gear change. It'll pull 160 on my gps in 3rd too btw. Just takes 7000 rpm this run was only 130

first of all ur speedo wont B off 20 mph it will vary. the faster u go the more off it will b. & even tho ur motor does sound strong still cum on 430hp is not gunna get u to 130 that fast. nice stang but show it for what it is dont bs.

Nah I had the gears from a previous circle track car when I used to race I got them for $75 and the crush sleeve was like $2.49. New gears are in the $200 range or so. Not too bad

2nd gear hits 100 MPH? I think you need a speedo recal....if more telling is the 0-150 time of 15 seconds...your mustang would never do that with 429 rwhp

Hehe sssshhhhh! Youre right its off a ways the speedo gear is for 3.08 and there's 3.27 in it. Straight down is only about 128. 150 is pegged back under zero but I was kinda curious how long it'd take someone to notice. Almost a month haha. Good job. Its more or less just for fun sorry for the mis-information
