  • MazeMurdersOfHeaven you little prick. YOU should be the one trying to make some effort by figuring out what that means you lazy bastard. Use your tiny brain some more, asshole.

  • yay! lets all argue! FNM is music for music listeners, not for faggets to bitch to.

  • FNM is my favorite over all band. I always seem to come back to them and never get tired of them.

people that listen to music for the "sound" of it or the "beat" are shallow anyway... FNM has ver piercing lyrics that dig very deep... Im sure it would make some feel very uncomfortable.

Screamo,Emo, and even some metal have a sick habit of using exaggerated whining to drive an emotional point home... FNM digs its fingers into yout skull, wiggles your brain and makes you actually think.

  • tasty album, hell yeah!!

  • bkn loko kliao

  • ok I will speak in english, die fucking ignorant and you ,try to learn another language....ooops sorry i figured out that this is clearly impossible with your little brain.idiot

  • with out fnm there wud be no nu metal

  • but don't tell Mike Patton you feel that way. he hates new metal and disavows any and all implications that he is to blame.

  • Hähhähhää puhutaa suomee noi urpot ei tajuu mitään mistään! Onpahan sitte Carlos ja Pepe ihan ihmeissään! Hähhähhää!

  • English,please, you idiot.

Try to make some kind of effort.

  • Faith no more rocks the nu metal has a name.

  • When did FNM become Nu Metal? Their origin is pre Grunge and they sound nothing like the mediocrity that Nu Metal displays. Korn and Limp Bizkit (which are the epitome of Nu Metal) do not even come close to the class that FMN's music fits in. Two different genres, one annoying and a waste of time (Nu Metal) and the other awesome and creative (FNM).

  • I never get bored listening to FNM!

  • Mike patton has one of my favorite voices...i still prefer maynards voice but mr.bungle, fnm and the things he made in the darkness videogame are just amazing.....

  • I totally agree with you.

Mike Patton and Maynard are my two fav vocalists/musicians.

  • Mike the teacher. can you say better of this "thing" i caaaaaaaant. i hope my cup is empty :) see ya ladies and i forgot

  • 3:30 it´s fucking funny

  • I like faith no more a shitload but this songs begginning sounds exactly like the beggining in ministry's filth pig. when i heard it i thought somebody covered somebody

  • Wow good observation, thats actually true they sound simular!

  • This is a remake of Alfred Hitchcok's Vertigo. I'm a Hitchcock fan, and I really like this

  • yes it's genius. nice remake of vertigo

  • Yeah, a very faithful reproduction of the Hitch classic. In a weird way it essentially sums up the whole movie (even though I don't recall James Stewart trying to hide pornos from Kim Novak ;-) )

  • fucking hot singer - and really good band

  • too much nonsense crap on here. talk about the music.

  • sweet vid from FNM... i wish todays tunes were more like this

  • The Scene where he is running up a long flight of stairs and the lady jumps out the window is from an old classic movie called vertigo.

  • actually i doubt its from a movie called vertigo, the scene is from mel brook's "high anxiety"

  • oops, my bad, mel brooks got it from vertigo, hah

  • She played in the movie " Fast times at Ridgemont High " still looks the same.

  • the woman in the vid is pretty, hey thx 4 postin dis full vid, its hard to find here in youtube, i somehow remember dis vid but couldnt find until now, d rest of d vids r missing some scenes.but d sound is a bit soft,n e way thx.

  • awesome n heavy song, nice!heheh very funny scene frm 0:42-53 nuthin but turnin of heads i like d setting of this vid, kinda set i the 40s detective story, mike patton looks good in the outfit, perfectly done!heheh another comical moment 1:18-23, sneaky smile 1:24,wats wit d guy in d dress n y is mp touchin d mans face?nice punk look heh good job cleaner!2:17,ok now mp is in drag mode,stunning!!2:34-35,beautiful eye color as well,d guy looks scary comin out wit d tool like dat 3:55, whos d woman??

  • My bad, I forgot to mention the song Malpractice from Angel Dust, it's one of their best and most complex songs.

  • the movie the other poster is referring to is "Vertigo", it's in color actually. This whole video is based on the movie, although in an interesting way.

  • MIKE PATTON WILL SAVE US ALL

  • Tremendo tema y gran video!!!

  • cant....remmember....movie...this was based on it was an old alfred hitchcock black and white

it was pretty good from memory.good to know that someone as extremely amazing as mike patton would use somehting like that in a film clip ^^

  • un 10

  • Mike Patton is not only an amazing singer...he's an extremely handsome man.

  • I am fairly new to Faith No More, and I absolutely love this song. Can any FNM fans direct me to similar songs of theirs?

  • You can't really go wrong with any Mike Patton led FNM records. Took a few listens but all the albums are brilliant.

  • Yes I totally agree with you. Every album has its own unique sound and feeling. They are all EPIC.....that was a bad pun lol.

  • Album of the Year might be a good record to start with, then.

  • listen to the album angel dust. especially the songs midlife crisis and a small victory. and falling to pieces and suprise your dead off of the album the real thing

  • Ummm....... no.

Their singles are the weakest links on their albums.

  • This and Stripsearch are the best songs on this album.

  • Dude, each FNM song is pretty unique, it's hard to tell, but they have loads of excellent songs. I'll suggest you some: we care a lot, from out of nowhere, epic, surprise! you're dead, zombie eaters, the real thing, woodpeckers from mars, war pigs (cover), edge of the world, land of sunshine, midlife crisis, a small victory, everything's ruined, caffeine, evidence, the gentle art of making enemies, ricochet, digging the grave, last cup of sorrow, stripsearch, ashes to ashes, collision.

  • Probably would have been easier to say EVERYTHING Faith No More has done from The Real Thing up through King For A Day....

  • No, it would have been easier to say everything, just everything! Why not "Album Of The Year"? I think it's really good.

This is one of my favorite songs by 'em. I think I can relate myself a bit with the lyrics.

  • i think he meant everything FNM has done since chuck mosley, as in the real thing on up. atleast thats what id say.

  • Exactly. You got the point.

Not that the Chuck Mosley era was bad, but it's definitely inferior to the Patton era, maybe because the songwriting wasn't as solid and Chuck's vocals were pretty bad. But don't understimate the Mosley era, because there are some very brilliant songs from that period, like The Crab Song (surprisingly one of the best songs Faith No More ever did, even better with Mike Patton on vocals), We Care A Lot, Anne's Song and Introduce Yourself.

  • One of my all time favorite songs by FNM was in the mosley era. I absolutely love the song "as the worm turns" of course its better with patton singing it heh!

  • Oh yeah, that song rocks! I totally forgot about it!

  • Jizzlobber off of Angel Dust, even better live just look on youtube for it.

Hope that help's you out, but i will tell you that if you get into FNM in a big way you really won't give a shit about any other band

  • If you get into MIKE PATTON in a big way you really won't give a shit about any other singer!

  • It's true. He is the bar for modern vocals to which all others are held.

  • You might surprise yourself. On :40-:50 and 3:37 Mike looks just like Ethan Hawke. They have similar looking profiles. This is a very rare gem from FNM but I really like it.

  • I thought i was looking at Ethan Hawke too for a moment there

  • That'll never happen. They hate each other. And can you imagine him on stage singing Epic again? I think he'd rather puke on the audience

  • Great great great video man, But I preferr the real thing ons! ;)

  • great song, great band, great video. FNM ROCKS!

  • This video is a parody of Vertigo, it's very funny and the song is great.

  • great song .. love it

  • yep pattons me m8 agga 4 sure

  • Vertigo by Alfred Hitchcock. Beautiful movie, beautiful homage from Faith No More.

  • I can never get enough of mike pattons musical work!

  • "Album Of The Year" IS a good album!

  • Yes I would drink Jennifer Jason Leigh's bathwater as well!

  • Oh he was aiming his joke at me, he has a thing about this video, and Jeniffer Jason Leighs bathwater! lol!

  • jennifer jason leigh...id drink her peigh..

  • i'd drink her bath water.

  • Drink her bath water????

    /b/rother!!!!!

  • I would use her bathwater and peigh in a stew!

    ;-)

  • Dear friends when I first watched this song on TV , it was a different clip which was made mostly some cuts from the original movie "Vertigo" and I love that clip. If you would tell me where I could download it I'd appreciate it.

  • why don't ask the guy that loaded it up to send it to you?

  • her peigh??? or her bathwater???

  • The vid is cool, and funny. JJL F@#%ing hot in here. All and all...A thumbs up.

  • i saw thse guys 3 times, always a riot, this is them at their very best, loads of talent and humour. like this look at 'peeping tom', 'betaband' hich is not heavy but as inventive and 'hotchip' also not heavy but inventive too....

  • Wish I could have seen these guys live. Could JJL look hotter?

  • I saw them live and I don't know if you wanna hear it but they were really good...

  • yeah, they were crazy!!!

  • Mike Patton aka Keanu Reeves

  • who can stand to listen nickelback after this??

  • lol

  • omg I love this. Makes me laugh so much that brings tears to my eyes. They are freaking geniuses

  • heh heh cathytrek!..."jj leigh id drink her peigh..." lol

    ;-)

  • klasyk

  • billy gould in a dress...Beautiful

  • Aye but where's Roddy and the guitar player?

  • now this is what im talking about

  • I love the idea of a 'video cover'. Vertigo to this day is such a complex work of art that if they ever did a remake, it would probably star Colin Ferell and Jessica Simpson and it would fucking blow. But, a four minute music video is brilliant. By far, not my favorite FNM song, but easily my favorite video by them.

  • jennifer jason leigh...i'd drink her peigh...

  • LOL @ Donut Janitor Guy

    Great song.

  • this video is so damned cool!!!

an allusion to vertigo - my favourite movie - combined with one of my favourite songs from faith von more.

    JUST GREAT!!!

  • this is my favorite song of fnm, dont have the words to say how much

  • this guy makes weird videos

  • My Mike <3

  • oh god see that woman with this music, oh o oh oh oh !

  • I heard this song in a movie or somethign!!! Can someone help, its annoying me hahaha

  • Find Faith No More on the the IMDB site to see if they've contributed songs to soundtracks.

  • FNM choruses rule. Hell, FNM rule.

  • see i should have read the comments b4 gettin clever haha

  • i like the staircase bit. it's from vertigo i think. just way i see it i suppose

  • great video

  • Jesus Christ! :)

  • Vertigo is a film about obsession, perversion, deception, voyeurism, delusion and mental illness, so it's no wonder FNM made this. But I can't believe I never saw it before! One of my fave bands and one of my fave films.

  • Best music video ever!!! I can see David Lynch's influence. It's simply awsome!

  • David Lynch!?

  • The characters' personality swapping and obsessive behaviour are very used by Lynch in his movies. I can see similarities between the clip and some Lynch movies but it is just my opinion.

  • Mike "Puffy" Bordin... thats the name of the drummer...

  • Vertigo, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Betty Page,

all in a Faith No More music video. I wish

it was longer. There just isn't enough of it

    for me.

  • I love this song. I love the band. I love the movie.

  • faith no more is so the tits, that for a few years there, there was no actual need for boobs in the world.

  • I love the song.

  • This is a great song to space out to...

  • nice homage to alfred hitchcock's "vertigo". i'd love to see mike patton do more movies!!

  • Lol! I had no idea wat the clip was about till u said that! Thanku vry much for letting me kno. Mmmmmm, yes plz, Patton in a suit is sexylicious :)

  • He starred in Firecracker and overacted big time in it.

  • you migth surprised youre self .....me encanta este video la raja

  • WOW my favorite clip

  • wtf..interesting ending..LMAO...yeah..some chick just jumped off the bell tower..but it's time for my bagel.

  • She didn't jump... Somebody "helped" her, hehe... (Did u notice the guy with the crowbar at the end? He was played by the drummer... What's his name?).

  • is tat Puffy brushing the Mohawk on Patton??

  • Nope that's Mike Bordin the drummer.

  • "puffy" was a cute nickname the band had for mike bordin.

what a weird band. all their seroius songs had really silly videos.

can't deny their incredible awesomness though.

  • great video, great song

  • jennifer jason leigh...i'd drink her peigh...

  • leigh... peigh... LOL! You're clever. (I might consider doing that too.) HA HA!!!!!

  • why...IM SHOCKED!...thank you for catching the pun!

    ;-)

  • FAITH NO MORE

    4 LIFE

    ;)

  • Great song, great video. Patton's grin at 1:25 is fucking legendary!

  • lol, i didnt know that, so am i a caveman (person) ?, a king of the stone age if u like.

  • In case no one else caught it, they're spoofing the Hitchcock movie VERTIGO.

  • like "duh"...we are not alll cave-men(persons) in here.

    peace out?

    :-)

  • jennifer jason leigh...i'd drink her peigh...

  • i agree with slobberty! Faith No More are definitely not seen as one hit wonders, Album of the Year was quite successful as well, and happens to be the one this song comes from.....

  • What happened to the better audio quality ones of this song?

  • A cool tribute to Alfred Hitchcocks vertigo

  • HAHA! If Puffy Bordin cut his hair, he'd make a decent Gordon Freeman from Half-life, with wielding that crowbar at the end and all....

  • Youre right Puffy has "limitlessss potentiallllll".....

  • ..The only good thing about this is ..

    JENNIFER JASON LEIGH!!!

  • Best Video Clip Ever.

  • bwahahahaah alguem me fala o q se passa nesse video :-)

  • A much better song than Epic.

Sucks that these guys are known as one hit wonders when they have a bunch of great songs.

  • Actually this isn't the best song they got lol.

    It goes like this:

    1. Epic

    1. Midlife Crisis(it's basically a tie)

    3. Falling to Pieces

    4. Probably Last Cup of Sorrow

  • Well that's a matter of opinion. And I din't say it's they're best song, though it is my favorite.

  • No way.

    1. The Real Thing

    2. Zombie Eaters

    3. War Pigs (better than Sabbath's)

    4. Caffine

Yes, I'm a The Real Thing humping bastard.

  • They aren't known as one hit wonders, Angel Dust sold a fair bit, same with King For A Day...

    Research before you assume!

If they we're one hit wonders, people would have forgotten about them intirely, as well as Mike Patton not having a cult status in the music industry, nor would he be considered a musical genious, IF Faith No More had been one hit wonders...
