It does have an odor but it is light and not offensive. Adding just a bit of essential oils will cover and candle's odor. When it burns though there is a faint odor too but no where near as bad as regular candles.
meery meet Neo, thanks for the video it is great and good info i was wondering where do you get your essential oils? and keep up the good work! or should i say craft!
I went to the website you provided but the 10 pounds of soy wax is $18.00 and you said you bought yours for $3.00 I really want some but could you help me more with the website? maybe I went to the wrong section or something?
Hello anbd thank you for a WONDERFUL video. I am about to begin making my own candles using soy wax also, but I would like to know about your use of herbs...
I have a lot of different herbs such as Jasmine, oak, spearmint, sage, wormwood, rose etc. Can I use these in my candles and if yes, what measurement to what amount of soy wax. Also, is there any herbs which are DANGEROUS and should not be used in candle making? I look forward to your response, and thank you in advance.
I use the same amount I would use when making an oil. As far as harmful ones I would not use the ones that are poisonous. I have a list of herbs on my website. You can get the link to the site on my channel info. Click on the herb button.
If you could please tell me more about the candle making process, any stores that you would suggest for candle making. Love the video, very informative. Thanks.
So, what is the difference between parifin wax and what you are using? What I mean is why did you prefer to use what you are using? Did you get the rest of the stuff all at a craft store?
Paraffin is made from petroleum and produces carcinogens and soot when burned and can trigger allergies in some people. Soy wax is organic and burns 50% longer than a regular candle. It also cleans up with warm soapy water. It burns clean as well. I bought the molds, melting pot and thermometer at a local craft store. The waxes and dyes I bought from the website. There are some sites out there that sell molds, but I have not bought anything from them.
Thanks for sharing, Neo and blessed be:)

Thanks! You can get them at most pagan shops or websites. This is a good website: mountainroseherbsDOTcom/
Replace the word DOT with a period. YT won't let us put links in.
