Overall, you had a good message. You explained what the Republican stimulus alternative was, related the Democratic proposal to their expressed criteria of timely, targeted, and temporary. Best of all, you limited yourself to criticizing behavior and acknowledged that even Democrats want to help the economy. Besides, the current stimulus is less than 10% of one years GDP, much of which can be recouped through the sale of Treasury notes American investors, we dont need the foreigners, coupled with the Federal Reserve normal maintenance reserve mechanism along with the additional new employment and sales tax.

The Republican plan was to borrow trillions more to give to the rich, indebting future generations for multiples of any stimulus gained in the present. The Democratic plan was conservatively designed by legitimate economists to maximize immediate economic stimulus by spending on projects that would grow employment and boost the economy from the bottom up such that every dollar spent would return more than its value in the long run. Lisa needs to take an economics class or two.
