@pojdhg Yeah, I was in 112 right by the stage, row 7. Very cool. They're coming here to St. Louis in November, and I'm gonna try to get by the barrier
@blues3531 Yeah it was before I found out. I bought my tickets and literally found out the next day that they cancelled StL and Kansas City just so Chris' wife can squeeze out a fifth one. Greedy brit. =/
@endeau yea i was quite pissed. had GA tickets again for the stl show and luckily got em refunded but im still mad. im gonna feel sick when november rolls around and im not seeing muse.
@endeau yeah i already made the stl to chicago trip and 2 night stay in a hotel for this show. the point of the stl show is wow all we gotta do is drive to scott trade this time lol.
@blues3531 hah exactly. Well come November 3rd, hit me up and we'll chill and jam and just play Muse songs and recreate our own concert...and weep haha
@Capriwis Yeah, I'm from St. Louis and actually went to Chicago for this one, now I find out they're coming to St. Louis in November! I'm camping out and getting a really good spot in the pit
My only disappointment was the section that I was in, everyone seemed to be half asleep, I was pumped, and enjoying myself. I guess I looked like a fool, but I didn't care. Definately loud, and so worth it!
@robyndominguez Yeah, I was in the 100s section not right next to the stage, but one next to that. Everyone else was standing of course, but it doesn't matter what everyone else is doing, you'll probably never see them again and it's suposed to be enjoyed however you want to!
This show knocked my socks off! I had really high expectations for this show, and they exceeded them all! Is it possible that Muse is better in person, and on disc? I think so!
@robyndominguez Yeah it was completely insane. They have won all kinds of awards for best live show and stuff. They're so good. They either sound just like the album or most of the time exceed the sound of the album. either way, they're phenomenal.
God this concert was the night of my life haha, I was sitting in section 226, right behind Dom, the seats actually gave a great view, better than youd think
@lolanvegeta The seats were actually a lot better than I thought hey would be, I mean sure we were behind them, but we were a lot closer then the people directly in front of them [unless they were on the floor]
This was easily the best concert I've ever seen. Where we were sitting, we couldn't see Silversun Pickups (which sucked cause I love them too) but the relief in our section was palpable when those curtains dropped. Hundreds of people released a collective sigh of relief.
Yeah, it's cool that they acknowledged the audience behind the stage at times. There are a lot of bands that just go, perform, and then leave. Just trying to make money.
Me and the wife were the same way, I was gonna be very disappointed if those curtains didn't drop but I told her they probably would drop since I've seen the Resistance video alot of times. This show made her a fan for life!!! Even calling them the best band in the world which is amazing coming from her.
@Slat743 yea i was in 224 rite behind them.i love the silversun pickups too!but yea everyone was so happy that those curtains werent gonna stay up long...and that matt ran all over the stage.!!
Are the security at the concert strict? Do they ever ask you to turn off your camera when you were filming? I got the floor for Oakland show and wants to film the whole concert. My past experience have not been good with the venue security.
Well, I have a MinoHD Flip camera so they're pretty compact, they don't pat you down or anything, I just had it in my hoodie. They're not too expensive, they're small (so they look like a phone from a distance), and there's an option to turn the front recording light off, so it's really hard to pick out looking up in the stands with all of the lights and flashes and everybody else holding stuff up.
At the doors they were worried about the drinks and food coming in. We were never wanded at all. They had a guy unzip his jacket and wanded him but security was very loose IMO. Wish I had snuck in my camcorder though!
Does anyone know where I can download this intro song or the name of it? I love it!
