It shouldn't matter who your father is though, just because he's a legend in the wrestling business doesn't mean that Tamina is just as good, nor deserves to be pushed on Raw/SmackDown. From what i've seen from her fcw & wwe matches, she doesn't look at home in the ring, whereas Kelly & Eve do. She may not be a rookie, but it doesn't look like she's long past that stage...

She did that because she went to TNA, where she was able to push the limits and regain her name. At TNA she had to say something about WWE to get noticed and she did that. It obviously wasn't that bad because when she left TNA back in May she was added back to the Alumni section of wwe.com ... And once she rejoined TNA back in July she was taken off of the Alumni page.

The thing was...she didn't retire from the business. She signed with and showed up in TNA shortly thereafter, feuded with the Beautiful People and Awesome Kong, won the knockout Championship, left for a while (presumably to take time to heal up from some injuries) and is now back there yet again as we speak serving as a bodyguard for Madison Rayne.

The thing was...she didn't retire from the business. She signed with and showed up in TNA shortly thereafter, feuded with the Beautiful People and Awesome Kong, won the knockout Championship, left for a while (presumably to take time to heal up from some injuries) and is now back there yet again as we speak serving as a bodyguard for Madison Rayne.

I had slowly but surely stopped watching wrestling in 2004 (too much "entertainment", not enough sport) so I never knew until I came here just how bad things got for Victoria in the later years of her career. At least she got to say her farewell to the WWE fans. Most wrestlers don't.

Of the other women you listed, the only one who left of her own free will was Molly, but by the time she left, her reputation as a top-notch wrestler had been ground into dust.

Chyna was causing too much trouble so they sent her off with a "neck injury" check out 101 reasons not to become a professional wrestler for more info. Ivory actually was getting to beaten up so she also retired with neck injury which is funny because she was the kayfabe killer of Chyna. That was Chyna's warning to stop bother SMH they put her in women's division.

Note that at least two of these were considered some of the few real wrestlers left in Women's division before it became Diva. Hint, hint, though unconfirmed by anyone other than Gail and Jacqui saying they were blindsided by contract cut. Molly has a mutual secrets agreement with WWE that nobody would make a big deal out of her leaving.

Mickie and Katie Lea are gone now, Beth's on the DL, Natalya never gets used as a wrestler, Jillian is a jobber and comedy character, and Gail never seems to get to do anything important, her last big accomplishment being losing to Maryse in the finals of the Divas title tourney.
And how is WWE handling their lack of decent women wrestlers? By having a "casting call" for new divas.
