  • Great Tribute Dave. Our Honor Guard attended this years memorial and had no words to express the emotion of this event. So thankful that their is a memorial for the ones that matter. "The Families and the Brotherhood". Do you happen to know who the singer is? I know she sang again this year, I am assuming every year, but her voice is amazing. Rest in Peace 343. FDNY.....WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

  • 1 person missed the like button

  • Very powerful video. Please be sure to check out the newly recorded patriotic song "Freedom 911" by new artist Joshua, feat. J-Kwon & Gino Green. You can check it out, right here, on The Benita Show. An awesome tribute to our Armed Forces and our Great Nation.

  • Sometimes hell hits us directly. Priests can pray but it's firefighters we look to to save the day. They manifest the hero hidden in all our hearts. My new song and video is about just that at "thebailiffsings". To all firefighters - thankyou!

    The Bailiff

  • @EAmaster123

architects and engineers for 911 truth

  • rest in peace 343 brothers all of you will not be forgotten

  • May the peace of the Lord our God be with all Firefighters from all around the world.

  • My school had a wall mural and I did one part of it.. It has the sillouette of a firefighter and it says "343"

  • i am happy you died. This was a blessing from Allah(Swt) you got a taste of what you so often do to other nation. What a blessing this day was

  • @aladarbaljihad you horrible muslim scumbag i hope you burn in hell.

  • @m4tty2k9 Stop falling for the bait, this man is no muslim, real muslims would not support such wickedness! May these honorable fire-fighters rest in peace.

  • @aladarbaljihad Your no muslim, neither am I but one things for sure, I have muslim friends and they would never advocate such a wicked act. You sir are an impostor, and the rest of you should have a bit more bloody sense, falling for this kind of deliberate hate-mongering!

  • @Freethinkersclubuk 9/11 was a pure blessing. And you Kufar are trying and tell me i am muslim ore not ohh pleace. I have a word for you so-called muslim friends (Munafiqeen)

  • @aladarbaljihad You seem to have a word for everyone! Nothing positive either! It's fake muslims like you that stain the reputation of the real ones. Who are you to judge? Is it not the divine domain of Allah himself to judge man? Go away, Allah will deal with you.

  • @Freethinkersclubuk Lame Kufar

  • people always tell me why do i risk my life for others i say. "Beacause im honoring those brothers and sisters who died in 9-11" they all walk away after crying saying theres a true firefighter

  • this post for hop that luck all we aer

  • I will never forget that day, it was New Year in Ethiopia and at 12:00 there was breaking news, my family and I were like standing there watching the TV if it was real or not. We were devstated, people trowing themselves from the longest building and airplane fly trough it, was very sad thing to look at the age of seven.

May our lord rest their sole in peace and those who risked their lives and never came back......yeah!

  • my friends uncle died in 9/11... he saved 20 people while in their, on his way back to save the 21 the building collapsed. A few years back she had given him a necklace with a cross on it, when they went to identify his body the only way they knew it was him through the burned skin and dirt was the cross. when the building fell the necklace fell off, but it left the imprint of the cross on his chest.

tomorrow is a very sad day but thank you to the ones that risked their lifes to save <3

  • Greats to the brothers from the New York City Fire Department from a german brother!

I will never forget the 343! God bless you all!!

  • I want to say thank you on behalf of The Ten House FDNY. We don't get too many thank you's anymore. People forget.

    Be careful brother

  • RIP 343! As for politicans i really dont give a shit about them.

  • never forget 9.11.01

  • GOD BLESS AMERICAN HERO"S

  • RIP "343". Never forgotten...Never!

  • it takes real courage to run into a burning building when others are running out.

  • Sabres220-Indeed it does.I recently compared salaries of cops and firefighters to politicians.I said to myself "we got this wrong,we should be paying firefighters/cops 100k a year and politicians 40k a year."

  • Courage? I would run into that building like it was my way out of life. My mother would call it c0urage, im a large viking. I cant stand my job, i fight all the time and drink to much. The world is not made for me.

  • @sabres220 you got that right

  • When can we have an investigation into their deaths? The most moving thing I saw that day was the firefighters marching towards the towers while everyone else ran for their lives.A cameraman asked a firefighter how they could do that?A firefighter said,"Its our job!" Such extraordinary courage should be honored by we survivors demanding answers and prosecutions for the filthy bastards who blew those buildings up.WTC 7's collapse was announced on CNN and BBC before it collapsed. It wasn't even hit

  • no hep needed thanks we know what happened and need no conspiracy mongers tarnishing them in any way by using them to help the cause of conspiracy. if ya wernt ther you will never know. no disrespect intended stop tarnishing MY BROTHERS

  • You can always tell a govt troll, they miss spell simple words so that you think they're just harmless and stupid. It also signals other trolls to work together or not waste time flaming each other. Nothing to see here folks, move along! FD, the problem is I saw it live. I am a witness to a mass murder. I will never forget! Sic Semper Tyrannis

  • ThreeHundred-FortyThree

    RIP

    I will never forget you.Thats a promise.

  • This is a true memorial service firefighters and their families honouring the bravest who have gone before us and now look after us.

forever in our thoughts from a Strathclyde fire and rescue firefighter

  • Thanks David. W eshould honor these brave souls who went inside those towers to do thier duties. Thanks for putting this up.

  • David:

A very touching tribute, there can't be enough tributes to these guys. I feel they are still taken for granted and are underpaid. They protect us, save our lives and give up theirs. Where is our expressions of gratitude. We are so wrapped up in our lives that we block out those that take care of the community.

  • Dave-Very moving. The pain and sorrow is still as sharp as it was 6 years ago. Great job.

  • Thank you for documenting such a sincere tribute.

  • The roses with the note promising never to forget say it all . . . we can never forget, or repay our debts to, the brave and selfless firefighters. Thanks for this moving tribute.

  • Thank you for sharing, it was refreshing to see a tribute focused on the firefighters, not the politicians who show up for face time at memorial events.

  • Very poignant and beautiful David. A bit of music history: Amazing Grace was written in the late 18th century by a British slave ship captain who renounced his ways. Amazing that it still brings tears to the eyes.

  • david-wonderful tribute. you captured the magnitude of loss and the simple poignant ways that the firefighters' families honor them. so glad you were able to be there and share with us.

  • A wonderful tribute to those who lost their lives. May we always find nonpolitical ways to honor them. Amazing Grace indeed.

  • i totally agree! it's so sad, but it guves us a way to honor them. It doesn't have the mayor or the president, but it honors the firefirghters with the families and they're "brothers". I love it!

  • david--heartbreaking and beautiful. i cried the whole time and am still..

i will send this to everyone I know.

    today 9/11 ...9:59 and 10:28

thank you for letting us remember with this beautiful portrait of those who nyc forgot
