To all of you who criticize Tablo for lying about his degree. First of all, there is confirmed PROOF from Stanford University that he had graduated with a M.A. and a B.S. To those who have no clue about the higher education system in the U.S. YES, it is possible to get a B.S. in three years and a master in one year. Especially a general English degree.
why is his music overrated or everything that he does and says? because he advertised himself as smart and rebellious Stanford graduate... It's silly but that's how it went in Korea. He praised himself with his BS so much on National TV (some game shows but some were serious) that general public in Korea got suspicious and when his claims were proven fake one by one, people started to get angry. Angry at how gullible we can be and angry that "fake" still rules society... just watch what happens

I just can't believe how many kids here believed all the bull shit tablo was talkin about.. finishing 3 years courses in 6 months?? and he didn't explain clearly either.. thats just ridiculously funny. I think tablo has a mental illness which he can't distinguish between real world and his own fantasy world.
@JackHYoo It's cuz Tablo is the first hiphop artist in South Korea who did all that amazing stuff and really got his music out there. In America, it's no big deal. But in Korea, its a big feat.
@letjkrule especially when rap wasnt that big at least thats my theory since hip hop was pretty big in korea in the 90s but i can see rap not being there since thats music for the younger generation and korea has such a "old school" kinda of feel in that way if it brings things to perceptive
Seo Taiji and DJ doc were kind of the first K-hiphop artists in south Korea. They kind of introduced it.
1TYM, Jinusean and Drunken Tiger are probably the 2nd generation of Korean Hip hop artists. 1TYM and Jinusean made up the YG family back then. YG family were huge back then. They really introduced it to S. Korea
EPIK high are part of the new generation of hip hop artists.
I listened to 1TYM and Jinusean when i was back in Middle school. I thought i was soo cool LOL. I even did a music class project in middle school. We were told to bring any song you like. I brought Jinusean - A-Yo. The whole class listened to it. My friend did 1 Tym forgot the song name. The white people in my class liked it to :)
