I like them; they've lasted for over 3yrs/30K miles then one of them blew a fuse about 1K ago so we decided to change the wiring harness that held the fuse on both and no additional problems since. I think they used to have problems with their controllers but when mine were installed (3yrs ago) supposedly that was already fixed and that seems to be true, the harness on the other hand could be a little better...
@suepsetts it's the altitude. Colorado Springs is a little over 6K feet! It's like choking someone and expecting them to run 4 miles, it's not easy. With less air you also have to lower the octane and the highest octane in these parts besides E85 is 91. My truck was tuned at less than 2K feet and on 93 octane. Now with the new 6K elevation the 91 octane is fine and if you have a good tuner the MAF should calibrate itself but I lost 60rwhp on my Cobra so it's at least that on the truck.
@MDK210 oh yeah that makes sense. my friend lives up in colorado. that sucks ahah but i guess everybody has that handicap so its kinda even? haha. oh damn you have a cobra too? thats sick
i don't mess with any of that power breaking or other tricks into getting a nice burnout. Half throttle she'll roast nicely and full throttle at a light or the track she'll burn the street tires off easy. If I wanted to I could drift the piss out of this truck but then again I've only owned F150's for a long time. She'll go anywhere you want with as much as you give her. Good thing with the roots, all 380rwhp to the pavement if I want.
tranny was my main concern but it's held up great! As long as you don't do burnouts and act a fool it can take the abuse every once in awhile. 4r75 is pretty strong but if I made much more tq I would upgrade it. Stock motor, stock fuel pump and stock trans. That's everything stock.
very nice man must be a blaste ti drive. just a question, how has the stock tranny held up with the added HP and TRQ, and if you ahve upgraded it what have you done?
5.4l and I'm not sure what you mean by shut off. If you are talking about my speed limiter it shuts off at 130mph currently but it can be change to whatever speed.

Sure is Hampton, thankfully I no longer live there. Bad news is I live in Colorado now so I lost a ton of power.
MDK210 1 year ago
@MDK210 dont you gain power in colder temps?
suepsetts 1 year ago
@suepsetts colder air is almost always better so you typically gain a little more but nothing to brag about.
MDK210 1 year ago
@MDK210 then why did you lose a ton of power moving to colorado?

how much horsepower is the supercharger alone?
foxracin53 2 years ago
Roush says:
# Adds 145 hp and 143 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel
# Brings total power of engine to 445 hp and 500 ft-lb of torque at the flywheel
