Too bad you didn't hear about the other candidates taking hundreds of millions from special interests. It costs hundreds of millions to run for president, who is going to fund that? Yet he's by far the best choice. If your understanding of Obama is that shallow, just don't vote, you're squandering the voice and freedom democracy gives you.
I just registered in Obama's Website and now get his emails for his Events. Let me know when the next Rally or Voter Registration Drive is taking place, I'm Down!!!
Good! Americans have too many guns as it is! Besides, he doesn't want to take Americans guns, he wants to take away their assault weapons. Just a little different there pal! Oh, I'm sorry, were you planning on hunting pheasant with that fully automatic plastic glock!?
good. maybe the murder rate in this country will go down finally, and no more gun crazy nuts with 50 to 100 semi-automatic rifles in their closets. it's way too easy to get a gun in this country, and we use them recklessly.
The last time I felt this kind of hope and optimism for this country was when Bobby Kennedy ran for president. Better days are ahead. The last seven years have been a long, dark time for this country. Barack Obama represents the chance to bring the USA back to a point where we can be proud of our actions and what we stand for. Go out and take action.
the tricky part is getting this process to the red states. We need Obama supporters their to take charge and surprise everyone in November. That, and fight the ignorance spread by pundits and deep pocketed Neocons. Don't fall for divide and conquer tactics spread by Neocons posing as Hillary or Obama supporters. That's how this election will be won. Obama 08!
It's time for uncommitted superdelegates to stop their dithering, hop off the fence and officially bring this nominating process to an end. Hillary has earned the right to stay in the race until the bitter end. So it's up to the superdelegates to accelerate the bitter end. And it's up to us to pressure them to do exactly that.
This is a metaphorical "battle" that became all too literal when military contractors convinced Dick Cheney in the 1990s (his open letter came out in 1997) that it made sense to go back into Iraq.
The only thing we have to lose is our liberty. The only thing we have to gain is the greatest country in the history of the world rediscovering the fundamental beliefs and ideals that we once knew and that the world thinks the American people have forgotten.
It is challenging for mere citizens to compete (for influence over Congress and over control of the process by which we choose the next President of the United States) with international corporations and the lobbyists they employ.
Some, when they become aware of how great this challenge is, say we should give up.
I say we fight harder.
The more international these corporations become and the less loyal they become to our American ideals, the more important the battle becomes.
Great!. I wish as a native New Yorker I was able to attend this event , but I had to work that day. I definately want to be involved in the Obama campaign. Obama 2008 !

I haven't seen involvement like this since the 1960's .
Thanks to the Reagan revolution and the deliberate dumbing down of America ,most people don't get it.
They choose to live their lives in fear !
Mostly they fear CHANGE !
