@ILUM69 Q and E are using to move sideways and stuff it's not the best idea to bind those if you want to be able to move around while casting or kiting etc.

i got my shift macros to work but it does not show the symbol that corresponds with the spell when i hold down shift. any advice?

i have a question about shift mods. i got mine to work on my side bars when i click on them, however, when i use it on my numbered bottom bars, instead of functioning correctly, it switches the action bar to a different action bar. help?

@Currymancer That is something you have to change in keybindings. Go to Options-> Keybindings and Scroll down to the bottom of the ACTION BAR FUNCTIONS section. There are places you can keybind Action page 1, action page 2, 3 4 5 and 6. Simply unbind all of these keybinds and you're shift mods will work fine.

u say that using shift mod macros is confusing,but i think it's one of the best ways to play:) it reduces the number of keys u need to hit and i got used to it after like 1 week,it's awesome!

Hey! Nice vid :) I want to make a one hit macro but cant figure out how to make it work :( this is how i set it up:

/use Vicious Gladiator's Badge of Dominance

/cast Elemental Mastery

/cast Unleash Elements

/cast Lava Burst

/cast Earth Shock

It won't cast lava burst or earth shock :( pls help ^^

@TheGamePotato Thats because you have Unleash elements, lava burst and earth shock in the same macro.

You can only have one "spell" to cast in a single macro.

So you can't have, for example /cast lava burst

/cast lightning bolt

It won't work. What you need to do is make a cast sequence macro. It looks like this:

/castsequence reset=combat/6 Vicious Gladiator's Badge of Dominance, Elemental Mastery, Unleash Elements, Lava Burst, Earth shock,

Try it out, let me know if it works

@TheGamePotato when u click a macro it uses the abilties with no global cd + trinket (or engeneering tinker) + the first ability with global cd u write in the macro,that's why your macro doesn't work: it uses the trinket,elemental mastery and unleash elements,but UE triggers the global cd and the macro can't cast other spells. I'd recommend u to try a castsequence macro or u can try this macro:

/cast Elemental Mastery

/use Trinket

/cast Lava Burst

use UE before the macro and shock after:)

@19Bill94 you probably still have the default blizzard keybinds of Shift 1-6. To get rid of that, go to Options - Keybinds - and click on any blank slot and press shift+1, shift+2, etc, so you can get rid of those default keybinds. Then if you have a shift moderator macro. It will work.

in your windshear macro, you might want to have 2 /stopcasting just for a more efficient macro

if you use an action bar addon like bartender you can page entire bars with your modifiers so you can bind 48 keys to one bar and save a lot of macro space

I like to use the nostromo n52 for my bindings, I don't a keyboard since its uncomfortable for me to game seriously on.

I also like using mouseover macros for windshear, CC, purge, and ES (to burst an offtarget down). I find those kind of macros handy for BGs/TB since you have to be ready for a lot of things there.

It's nice to see others playstyles for the same class.
