Socialists are always going on about liberating the working class. Liberating them from WHAT? They have free education, don't avail of it, their friends might think they were snobs, won't vote on election day, feena fawl/labour/finnagail get back into power. GUARANTEED. now, this: the first steps towards socialism is surely TRADE UNIONISM. Look at all the people bullied and illtreated at work. A trade union, if it is worth its salt, can put an end to this culture. BUT WILL IT? Wave a few brown envelopes to find the answer to that one! But trade unionism should be made COMPULSORY. After all, Thatcher made it illegal, just about. she outlawed it, tony blair did nothing to inlaw it. What about the rest of us?

Go on, ask any BROADMINDED churchgoer what he thinks of that last statement. He'll convert you to Catholicism! Seriously, though, you CAN be a Communist and a believer in God. WHO SAYS YOU CANNOT? I am more and more impressed by the CP. Everytime i hear them speak they make a great deal of sense. Shame the word communism is so discredited around the world following the USSR and China
