@zedchuva Have fun! I went last august, and i done this jump. Its absolutely amazing. It's scary when you're standing at the top on the platform, but as soon as you jump its fine! I also went on big shot and x-scream, which were also very good. I stayed at circus circus, but i went to Luxor to see the titanic exhibition, and i thought it was a really nice hotel!

The one in Auckland - New Zealand is better, only one line and they swing you out to hover in the air for a minute the drop you and you stop after dropping a couple of floors - right outside a viewing window so people can see the fear on your face. :-)

I am going in October to jump. That looks awesome!! Going to go to the hotel, check in, and head for the tower. After that a awesome week in vegas. That left hand rail where people hold on before they jump isn't blue anymore. The paint is worn off and it is shiny silver now. lol Cant wait.

I have been threre for a visit I went to las vegas for like 5 days and we drove threre and it took 8 hours and the hotel is called the stratosephere look it up on google the place is awsome and it has rollercoasteri n the 109th floor 909 above ground and the rollercoaster hangs you 909 above ground it's called the x screem 100% real

Did it the other day like what most have said the scariest is the build up of actually jumping. I did it at night so I could see the lights and it was so beautiful. I paid 100 then 20 more for the pictures and was able to go up for free afterwards to take pictures and look at Vegas. Something cool to do especially because of how high up it is.

I made this jump in November 2010..not scary. It's a huge deal leading up to it and thats why you pay 100 bucks..I guess itwas worth the pictures which are another 50 bucks..and to say you did it..but I was not impressed. IS NOT a freefall..it's a controlled jump. worth doing one time.

This ride SUCKS!! Did it just after it opened & was expecting much more. Totally agree with JTK4104 in that the first 100 ft or so is cool but after that the systems kick in & you are very noticeably restrained. Reverse Bungee is a WAY better rush!

@crazy4corbinbleux - Amazing. First time and it seems enormous, with the seemingly ongoing casino and the entire level dedicated to the retail but I soon learnt all Vegas hotels are like that. Room very nice, easy to get lost finding it now. Very good buffet and diner and the tower is incredible :)

The buffet is delicious, and the restaurant at the top is a bit pricy, but the food is excellent and you can't beat the view. The Stratosphere (still on the strip) is farther down the strip than most of the casinos, but that means you're closer to the downtown where some of the older Vegas is. Freeway is right around the corner, very easy access to the downtown, strip, and everything else.

I made this jump last month. The most terrifying part is the build-up to the jump--the jump itself really isn't that big of a deal. The first hundred feet or so feel like free-fall, but then the "reel" kicks in and the rest of your fall is a stabilized. The $100 you pay is for the anticipation and build up, and certainly not the latter 700 feet of descending Vegas skyline views....which is basically what most of the jump is--an awesome view of Vegas.
