  • This story doesn't really make that much sense...

If Quacky wasn't able to find himself a lady duck before the flood started, how could there be any more ducks in the world today after the flood was over?

And doesn't the Bible say that Noah and his family were the only human beigns to survive the flood? So shouldn't that hunter haver drowned instead of finding himself a boat to survive in?

  • @MrCaptainA The wickedness had a way!

  • According to Post's successor at Paramount, Shamus Culhane, the head brass at the studio were always looking to do a quickie ripoff the Warner or MGM characters; Post's other farewell cartoon was a Bugs Bunny/Porky Pig/Roadrunner clone cartoon called "Sick Transit."

  • I don't think Daffy, Donald, or even the by-then retied Dinky had much to worry about.

  • @Dachshund

You're forgetting one. There was "Dirty Duck".

  • This was released in early 1966, and virtually signalled the end of Post's tenure at Paramount. According to Leonard Maltin, a member of Paramount's executive board found the story to be, in his personal opinon, "blasphemous".

  • WTF?

  • Quacky Whack was a pretty lame character.
