  • Hillary always wants to change the rules in the middle of the game if it's not going her way. The DNC Rules were known by everyone. There was NO real contest in Michigan or Floria. Those delegates CANNOT be counted toward the total now. That would be THEFT.

  • Everyone's saying that the democratic party penalized Florida and Michigan for moving their primaries up so early but it wasn't the people of those states who did that, it was the people within the party do did that so you're punishing the people who are the voters who had nothing to do with their state's primary moving to a different time. It's just not democracy to say 1.7 million votes don't count but the rest of the votes in the US do. I'd be pissed if I were a Floridian.

  • i live in florida and i am pissed off... if obama's name was on that ballot i'm sure people would have voted for him

  • Hi sahseh07,

Obama's name was in on the ballot in Florida. It was Michigan where his name was not on the ballot. Both Clinton and Obama didn't campaign in Florida so the votiing that took place happened in a fair way, just as if both campaigned, no one had an advantage over the other so it would be fine to seat the delegates according to the voting that had already taken place. Michigan is a different story, Obama's name was not on the ballot so it's not fair to him to make those votes count.

  • oh i see... thanks... but i'm still pissed that they moved the date cause thats causing a lot of drama between floridians and the dem. party...

  • sahseh07,

I agree with you, especially Florida being a very crucial swing state and Florida's democrats being disenfranchised because of this fiasco could make some difference in the general election which is what I'm afraid of. I hate it when the party officials screwing things up but it's the PEOPLE who have pay for it.

  • Democratic Party needs Florida in the general election. No matter the Democratic nominee, hoping the Democratic party does the right thing and counts the Florida votes

  • is there a video that shows hilary crying will you vote for me?

  • I think the democratic party is engaging in probably the most undemocratic thing they could possibly do.

    It's completely despicable.

They should be grateful to have our votes, because without them there is no democracy, just a ruling aristocracy.

Oh yeah, that IS what we live in.

  • Who knows if the delegates will not be counted in the end. I think that's up in the air. But I admire that he's sticking to his word. Of course Hillary Clinton can't stick to hers. That says alot.

  • prrolg-that's pretty shocking. do you know anything else about speech? where can I see it?

  • How much do the Clintons pay you?

  • Barack needs to have his surrogates hammer Billary on this issue. Somehow embarrass them by tying this shady move to the Old, Hate-Filled Politics that they represent.

  • No, that would be the worst thing for him to do, then he would just look like a mud slinger like Bill! (smile) We want change, not same old dirty shit!

I am so happy the Kennedys indorsed Obama! (smile) Go Obama all the way to the white house in 2008! I am lookin' for a "Hat Trick," for 2008 too, vote every Republican OUT OF A JOB!

  • Agreed, wiskawind. But I don't mean a dirty counter attack, but a way of highlighting Billary's missteps in the Obama zen-like way that we know and love. Bottom line is, he needs to start now to stop her plan of trying to steal the totally uncontested MI and FLA delegates (he can't waste/divert resources in FLA this week). I don't know exactly what to do, but I imagine there's a way to create the necessary moral support he'll need later on...

  • Ted Kennedy and Caroline Kennedy just indorsed Obama! Ted ripped the Clintons a new butt, when he gave his speech indorsing Obama. (smile) But we have to do our job on the internet and try to persuade the Ron Paul voters to vote for Obama, when they figure out Ron Paul won't be on the ticket! (smile)

  • the kennedy endorsement was a passive aggressive political tactic & served only to divide the democratic party.

which is good for the republicans.

teddy should have decided to sit this one out for the good of the party.

kennedy looked opportunistic, and his speech was purely passive aggressive -dividing the party even more...

  • Ted Kennedy rocks! (smile) They see that Obama wants to bring this country together! It was this new generation that got me to change my vote to Obama! (smile) These new kids rock! So does Obama!

  • Bring this country together. Associating with racists for 20 years!? Obama has done NOTHING but tear Democrats apart. We would have won in November with HRC easy--Why couldn't Mr. Big Ego; No Experience wait?

  • When is Al Gore going to endorse Barack? It's only a matter of time (before Super Tuesday I hope). With Gore's endorsement on Barack, Al will supplant Bill Clinton as the Democratic patriarch / elder statesmen!

  • Veracifier is kinda a shill ;)

go to 'TheRealNews' for totally unbiased stuff.

  • I agree. Veracifier has the problem that so many people who work in various aspects of politics have which is this, they are so concerned with being insiders and/or not looking foolish that they end up just parroting the views of the elites. This adds to the echo effect of the powerful and does absolutely nothing to further any kind of fruitful discussion. The Real News is quite good--you're right about that too.

  • I hope he actually reads this! ... we can only hope.

Yeah, it's very much a 'parroting' effect, where it's not really with the 'thoughtful discussion/journalism' and more of the 'what are the other people saying/reporting'. I much prefer journalism over reporting.

I'm staying subscribed hoping something will change... but this channel is just like the MSM.

  • Journalists can endorse candidates. It does not matter what form of Media they use. Newspapers do it all the time.. and the internet journalism is just a newer form of journalism than newspapers.. not better, nor will it replace newspapers. But more modern so people view it differently nowadays, but that will pass.

  • Sorry lol..

I just see reporting as far more deceitful than journalism, since you can certainly call bullshit on journalists, but with reporters (while you can know they're wrong), it's nearly impossible for you to refute the 'official story' that they are reporting.

  • The Clintons would wreck themselves and us before they ever check themselves. We need Renaissance more than Restoration.

    Obama.

  • I am voting with this new generation! (smile) Go Kids and Go Obama! It is time this country had a young President that represents our youth too! I haven't been this excited since I voted for Kennedy! You kids rock for freedom, and so does Obama!

  • THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT! I am going to work for Obamas campaign this weekend

  • I hope he lives long enought to finish the race; he is getting on in years ya know.

Go Kids and Go Obama 2008!

  • Obama and Hillary need to unite.

Obama for president, Hillary for his vice president. United together against the radical republicans, they will not lose. Divided they will split and create a bad name for each other causing less support.

Radical republicans use terrorism as propaganda for economic imperialism.

  • are you kidding? Hillary is a wealthy family and corporations sell out why would she be good? shit the same wealthy people who supported Bush support Hillary. if anything Obama should ask Edwards or Richardson for Vice presidents.

  • I would prefer Biden. However, he hinted that he wants Chuck Haygel as his VP candidate.

  • No way! A Clinton + Obama ticket would not win an election. As long as Hillary is involved, Dems better pray that they run against Reps like Romney / Tancreado. I am an indie and I do not like Clinton more than I like Obama. She is atrocious and radically left. There are enough neo-cons already. We really do not need neo-libs.

  • Clinton and Obama won't run together, there's way too much bad blood. If Hillary wins, she'll probably pick up a member of Bill's inner circle, and Obama will probably go with Edwards.

  • I would much rather see Obama/Brian Schwietzer personally.

  • I think Obama will win... and really surprise us when he chooses his VP

  • Jim Webb (D-VA - Senator) for VP. Jim is tough as nails.

  • THIS IS TURNING INTO OBAMA TV WTF

  • Why should it? Hillary obviously rigged the 2 primaries and that is why she is begging for its votes to be included. I mean, even Kucinich agrees with this even though he took part in Michigan..

  • He's where the action is, and where our future lies. Voting Barack is a vote for healing the politics of personal destruction. Hoorah Barack!!

  • Ted and Caroline Kennedy just indorsed Obama! (smile)
