No cellphones, no stoping while dancing to text, no sneaking out because the band or DJ suck. Just good music, fun and dancing. Though I wouldn't know, I was born in 1992 :(
beauifull footage from the hot summer of 89 , but wish ther was more footage from the summer of 88 when ther was a pure acid house scene complely diffrent danceing from 89, in 88 ther was lot bandanas and smiley faces being worn, which was almost not seen by the summer of 89 if you whant to compare just how different the summer of 88 was to to the summer of 89, look at the videos of rocky and diesel summer 1988

What a time then the Tories stamped down hard because for once people were going out and not fighting, for me it was great, been through the skin head and punk time, loved electronic music but hated clubs, bang ! along came partys/raves GOODS times.
MDMA worse than alcohol I dont think so, but it could only last so long, by 1993 the gangsters and Idiots looking for trouble came along.
I love how fresh everything was in this era. People had wide eyes, everything was full of wonder. Music kept pushing boundries, and people vibed off of one another. They look so liberated in comparison to how people stand around and talk on the floor nowadays!

once again, cant see hardley anyone drinking booze, its really sad how alchohol has creeped back into the picture, for a while there young people wearnt doing what they were supposed to do, they genuinly fucked the system. then the criminal justice bill came in, it went back into the clubs and back into the brewery and drinks companies hands. shame
Watching this made me a little sad. What a dam good time we had, off our nuts dancing away. What I would give to do it all again. Thanks for the great times all!
Remember that queue very well, took ages to get in and mad for it after driving around all night. Guy, next to us, in that queue absolutely off his trolley barely able to stand. Happy days.
Quality, some edgy faces in the queue though! should've made everyone drop their pills together, looks wrong people coming up among people who've been down for ages, know what I'm sayin?!

Remeber this well, so many people had their tickets taken whilst queing in their cars, finally they opened up the event for all..cars burning also..what a time to be alive and enjoy..one two three four!
love the way if you see footage from 99 % of clubs nowadays it's all about the dj / the booth / his mates, back then it was ALWAYS about the dancers / the people that made it happen...
energy at raydon - must have driven on every road in Esses and Suffolk to get to this party, well worth the trouble, great music and people as well as burning cars!
remember it (fairly) well, well it was20 years ago!!! on a mental wild goose chase, drivin all nite from clapham common to end up in some nutty warehouse in the middle of a field in deepest rural essex!! my brother, after driving thru the nite went 4a kip in the afternoon, to be awoken by burning cars abt 20 yards from him, ppl were banging on windows rocking the car n everything, bless him.
this is scary if u read this this far u will die in 10 days if u dont send to any 15 videos in 2 hours good luck hope u dont die !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was a nice little rave scene going on in Newcastle in the early 90's....nothing huge like this, but small little warehouse parties in derelict buildings etc. Lots of forest parties. Everyone knew each other, no tension, nice strong E's...magic!
Incidentally is that Edina from Absolutely Fabulous dancing at 2:34 ???
