O yeah you PETA people should know that hunters do more for conservation then you city people, and most hunters do put down animals more humanly then the companies who supply your supermarkets/fast food joints.
Shooting bears and other carnivores is sleazy unless it's done in actual self-defense. In a hillbilly accent: "It just don't set right with nature to kill like that."
I confess, I'm surprised that you'd take a shot with the bear standing at that angle. It precludes a quick clean kill. Full broadside or quartering away are the only shots I'd take at a bear, particularly with so light a bow. Then you wouldn't have to wait until morning for it to bleed out.
Here in nova scotia, hunters have to take a course before they receive their permit, and it includes a section on ethics in hunting, and acceptable kill angles.

Primitive short bows are superior despite the fact that the compound is now ahead of it's time. Modern compound bows are very inhumane because they are too fast and too strong for their own good. I'm an inspired archer and bowhunter but I rather use a Native American short bow of my own making then to use that filthy barbarian weapon.

Bow has had 43 minor changes since first shipping in May of 2005. There have been only a few minor changes in the last 3 years. Over 1547 bows sold.
Bow has been on the market for 5 years and 1 month.
