i a visiting thesslaoniki in october and i need to rent a car from the airport can someone please tell me is there any gps system in thessloniki that has full detail map of your city as i have checked on the internet with many sites e.g tomtom and they said they do not cover greece/thessloniki i do not want to get lost while driving pelase someone help
well, you should 1st check the rent-a-car companies that are around the airport. I am not an expert on this issue but i see all the city's cabs equiped with gps systems. why not the rented cars?

I would kindly ask the brother Greeks not to offend the Slavic race, because not all Slavs are (Republic of) Macedonian chauvinists... I like Thessaloniki very much and I had great time there but I wouldn't call it "capitals of the Balkans"... there is no such thing you know... anyway it's a really special place

I am a BUlgarian. I live in Bulgaria but I am very close to the bulgarian-greek border. Thessaloniki is about 80 km far away from my city. so I have been in Thessaloniki. It is my favourite city... I love it so much! I love the great old churches-Saint Dimitrios and its cript, Saint Georgeos, Saint Sofia, the archeological excavations, the Arch, lefkos pirgos, the old medieval fortress, thessaloniki's mediterranean bazar, the street along the sea with the caffes and so on....
