In 1993 I went to Southern California to see Disneyland, and other Southern California attractions, and I watched KABC news while visiting Southern California with my family due to that I watch WPVI ACTION NEWS at home (KABC's sister station).

Phillyvideofan, I know KTRK Ch. 13 in Houston used several different versions of their downtown skyline news set in the mid 80s as you see in the youtube video clips when you type KTRK.

Not sure unless it was in the Winter maybe when it can be dark by 5 p.m.? But, that can't be as I watch the clip...the live shots are in daylight so must've been a production error.

@sboudreaux27 KABC had 2 sets... a 5pm/11pm set and another set for the other newscasts.
