You really are an example of mother and person!, my congratulations to you and all those few who inspire us every day to become better human beings, sorry for the english I'm from Argentina!
Julian reads so well! He is a very smart boy in spite of his difficulty with speech. You are a great Mom and Julian will no doubt go far in life because of it. You should be proud.......of BOTH of you!
awesome my 22 month old also has the same issues we are working on them she isnt diagnosed yet next month is her iep. but we are also working with YBCR and it also is helping out big time!!! awesome job with your son!!!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I try to be as good a Mom to him as he is a great son to me, but I'll never come close to that! He's an angel. Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely comment. It is appreciated more than you can imagine!
@jlvsmom You're so amazing. My son has Autism and ADHD. I have maybe 1/10th the patience you do. Its so hard sometimes especially when I try to share my time with his twin brother. You have a God given gift as a mother. Thank you for being such an inspiration!!!! It took my son 6 years to finally receive a diagnosis. So we are now on track and making progress. My insurance does not cover any therapy for "autism" so I have to try and work with him all on my own and partner with his school.
I have absolutely loved watching your videos and getting see Julian's progress. I am in my senior year of my undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology. I actually was an English major and switched my major when I began to nanny for my cousin who is autistic and I would take him to his speech therapy sessions. My cousin's name is Andrew, he is now 15 and doesn't have quite as much speech as we'd like, but is doing great! your videos are inspring and reassuring that I am in the right field for me!

Thank you so much for watching and for your lovely comments. With your dedication and genuine desire to help those who need it I'm sure you will be a great therapist! What grade is Andrew in? 15 is a hard age for anyone, and with Autism added to the mix it certainly makes for some new challenges. I hope he is enjoying himself in school. He is lucky to have you for a cousin!
Thanks again for watching. As always, I hope to be getting new videos up soon.
I really love how positive you are with him. im sure that plays a very big part in how well he is doing. Al ot of people forget to applaud there children for the good things they are doing and only focus on the negatives. And he is such a cutie.
P.s - THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for making these videos, I've been trying to get some of my son (he's 2.5yrs now) but as you would know.. its hard to get conversatioins on video... and my son doesnt always wanna sit for the camera LOL. No, but really, you are providing such needed resource on the net.. its great as a parent of a child with Apraxia to be able to see real life video :)
OH!! I've been thinking of you guys! Ever since seeing your first video I've had such a soft spot for little Julian.. he is just adorable! This video both breaks my heart and makes me leap for joy at the same time! He is doing SO SO SO well.. (thats coming from a Apraxia mum) how old is he now? He is looking all grown up now :) It breaks my heart at the same time to see how hard our kids have to try to talk... :( Does he go to a regular school?
I just saw your other video and it's good to see you have an update here! So glad you now have a new diagnosis for him! That opens the door to lots of other programs. Your son is a adorable and looks like he's making good progress! It really shows how much work you do to help him. You're a good mom! :) Keep up the work!
