I'd still like to know what the officials and the league would have done had Jamie McCoun, heaven forbid, clotheslined WAYNE GRETZKY with that cross-check to the rib cage?
That play had to be the most unjust, non-call I had ever seen in hockey. That stunt/cheap-shot had match penalty written all over it.
I miss the Jets, they had the loudest crowd I have ever heard. Suck or not the atmosphere in the arena was unbelievable. Remember the 1999 world juniors the crowd was more ecstatic than most NHL games.
Could've, should've but CHOKED! However, in the mid 80's the Jets would've crushed if they didn't have the fucking Oilers in their same division. Could you imagine if todays playoff format took place back then? Jets would have made it to the final 4 a couple of times I bet.

This has been flagged as spam show
average Winnipeg attendance in last season: 11,316, Lower than Phoenix
average Hartford attendance in last season: spiked to 13,000, but was 11,000 for years
At least Quebec was a consistent 14,500
you will never have an NHL team again and your memories of constant glory days and sold out arenas are delusional
Its over

Worst was Fergie kept giving away a lot of the Jets talent for nobodys!

Winnipeg had the misfortune of being in the same conference as the Oilers during the mid to late 80's. Easy fodder for the mighty Oil at the time.

The NHL should be ashamed for moving the Jets.

This is sad to watch, because the Jets had such a history of blowing 3-1 series leads in the playoffs. Oh well, GO MOOSE GO!!!

I'm still not sure how they can let that last goal by Adams stand. It's goaltender interference, and it looks like he kicked it in with his skate.
jakbar316 5 years ago 2
Even if they win that game, do they still win Game 7?
chrisuncleahmad 4 years ago
Would've been better off with the Momesso goal standing at the end or regulation. Save the inevitable heartache.

@jakbar316
