  • No more Marion the Barbarian. Let Jones and Choice split duties.

  • @v8americanpower Couldn't agree more.

  • @v8americanpower Agreed. The boyz never should've taken that "closer" role away from him but what's done is done. It's time to move on.

  • @v8americanpower Yeah, we see how that worked out :X

  • I bet all those guys who were doing the booing feel really, really stupid right now.

  • CJ2k was still available. Just sayin.

  • @OnlyKnives Yeah, but Felix is still a beast. "Hindsight is always 20/20." For example, by looking into the past at this comment you posted, I can see that you're a douche-bag. lol... just kidding... Wish we'd get Felix the ball more. He may not be a 30-carries-a-game running back, but we treat him like he's a 5-carry back some games. We'll see what happens in 2 weeks against CJ & those Titans though. ~Go Cowboys!~

  • Best thing Cowboys can do is start choice actually and rotate barber and jones in and let barber close

  • Felix WILL be the man! Barber hasn't played up to his potential since he signed that huge money contract two years ago, and the NFL outlawed his lethal right cross stiff arm...

  • Take a look Eagles fans this is how ur suppose to react when ur team drafts someone lol

  • they should draft jimmy johnson back as the head coach and keep d. wade as a d-coordinator

  • You don't "draft" a coach...

And they shouldn't do that anyway...

  • @JMan1c1347..i meant bring jimmy johnson back as the head coach, and keep wade phillips as the defensive coordinator...

  • i know... but all the players love Wade,

& it's not because he's easy on them...

It's because he's one of the smartest

    football minds in the league.

If he gets fired from head coach,

    he won't be coordinating anywhere...

The rest of the league would jump on it.

He'd be a head coach somewhere else.

  • @JMan1c1347..but youve gotaa admit...that would be a damn good coaching staff...now if only we could get rid of jason garret

  • @bigtrilla817 I would love to see Jimmy come back! ...But we know that shit isn't gonna happen, I say if Wade fails to make the Superbowl this year fire him and give Jason Garrett his shot, he has played for and been loyal to the Boy's for YEARS!

    He deserves it!

  • i like barber and all but the way felix jones been playing i say he should be a starter

  • @sy237

felix isnt an everydown type of back

  • @DemonDante77 Not many starters are every down backs. Jones should start, so the Dallas can try to revitalize MB3 into that so-called "closer" role that made him 1 of the NFL's best.

  • @JMan1c1347

i guess so but i just dont see him starting. i see him more the type to come in and hit the home run with like a 70 yard TD on certain plays with his speed like reggie bush

  • @DemonDante77 Ugh... Felix won't get 20 carries, but he'll definitely be able to get more than 390 yards like Reggie. Felix can run inside & out. He, (like MB3 & Tashard Choice), has great vision. Reggie doesn't. It's just a word. "Starter" doesn't mean he'd be on the field more than any1 else. But, regardless of whoever starts, it's going 2 be a constant mix of 3 solid running backs so we'll see what happens.

  • and if he wasnt hurt all the time every video i watch with felix ppl are dissing on Barber and Choice and it kinda pisses me of

  • Yeah...I wish Choice & Jones got more reps

because I miss the Cowboys just being able

to hand off the ball to MB3 in the redzone & that pretty much being an automatic TD.

He was the best "closer" in the NFL. It'd

be nice to get a little of that back...

  • he only missed a couple of games this season hes way better than barber

  • @lakershd Jones is better than Barber the way it is now... But if we gave MB3 back that system of old where he closed out games I believe he'd be just as dominant as he was b4. In order to do that we'd have 2 be able to keep all 3 of these great running backs, something I would normally say is impossible, but with there being no salary cap it's suddenly easier. And that's the way it should be. NFL players make next to nothing in comparison to the NBA & MLB.
  • Felix Jones was a damn fine aquisition for The Cowboys. If it wan't for the fact he has to share playing time with barber and Choice,he would get at least 100 yards every game

  • Johnson will get more carries than Jones again this year. Jones will have a better season than last.

  • anyone that mentions a 40 yard dash time in running back talk knows nothing about football. tell 40 yard dash times to emmitt and walter.

  • Well said hansxotic. They weren't the strongest or the fastest. Funny... a guy named Jerry Rice wasn't the strongest or fastest either.

  • felix jones is the second best young rb in the league.. wkd

  • I'll assume your face is plastered up Chris Johnsons' backside. He accomplished more. Because he was thrust into a starting role and Felix went out early. He had a better year. As for what will ultimately happen, time will tell, for everyone.

Personally, I'll take the guy that's gotten 9yd rushing averages for the last 4 years of his football career.

  • who had that avg johnson?\

  • Good luck building your football team. Felix is good, but give me a starting running back with 4.24 speed over a change of pace back anyday.

  • well if F. Jones wouldn't have got injured at the beginning of the season, he probably would've got rookie of the year. The dude is bad ass. It seems like he scored a TD every time he touched the ball!

  • Yet he was only on pace for 736 offensive yards. Chris Johnson had 1,488 offensive yards and still didn't come close to rookie of the year.

  • Yeah, Johnson carried a big load. Jones wasn't even close to having as much carries as Johnson even if he would've stayed healthy. 2 totally different situations. "On pace"? There's not predicting what could've happened if Jones would've stayed healthy. What if MBIII would've got injured and Choice and Jones had to share the load. Johnson on the other hand, played the whole season. Which is nothing against him, that's what you're suppose to do. It's a part of the job. But totally different backs

  • The #'s look pretty far apart, unless you know the the real story behind both teams and players and what role the players played on their teams. Jones is a flashy "change of pace" back, playing next to 2 other great backs, T. Choice and MBIII, Johnson on the other hand, was the "lightning" in the Lightning and Thunder for the Titans. Both great backs, but both play a different role in each of their team's offense.

  • It's not like CJ was handed the job. He was expected to be a 3rd down back this year with Lendale coming off a year in which he had 1,110 yards. And believe me, Jeff Fisher is the last guy that would take a job away from one of his veterans for a better, younger player, Fish loves his veterans. He had to earn the starting job, Felix wasn't able to take it away from MBIII or even come close to splitting carries in his first six games.

  • That's not true. Things would probably be different if he would've stayed healty. Not that it's a good idea, but they're talking about Jones being the starter and MBIII finishing off the games. So yeah, he is capable.

  • felix averaged 9 yards a carry for the yeah chris johnson wont average 9 yards a carry in a game in his whole career nevermind an entire season. Felix is really special and coulda won rookie of the year if the trainers didnt give him turf toe. If u want to compare Chris Johnson to another back you picked the wrong one this guy is hall of fame caliber and a game changer

  • Chris Johnson was the #1 back on a playoff team and got 294 touches on offense. Felix Jones had 32 touches on offense and was the #2 back. Deshawn Wynn had 13.8 YPC (compared to 8.9 for Felix) on a small amount of carries too, is he a potential hall of famer? Hey, maybe you should look at him without an obvious Cowboys-biased opinion.

  • Titans need to win a game first before you can talk playoffs. ROFLMFAO

  • Epic fail. You bring up a comment from 3 months ago claiming that he was a #1 back on a playoff team.. was he not on a playoff team? But yeah, you must feel badass and all. Beating the Bengals, Browns, and Raiders? Looks like Jay Cutler's leading the Broncos to the Super Bowl.. oh wait.

  • LOL I'll show you epic fail. ... I actually like Chris Johnson though :P ... I'm just feeling antsy and felt like picking an internet fight... And if the Titans beat the Bengals, Browns, and Raiders and started off 3-0 .. the way we have.. you'd feel badass also. I feel way badass.

  • Yeah, too bad I'm not a woman, or else you can say you pick fights with woman just like your best player!

  • LOL! ... Dawkins and Champ fight with women? ... news to me

  • 3 years ago maybe.. but the guy who could be insubordinate and only get suspended a couple pre-season games is your best player. Nice baseball team btw. Juan Mirandaaa

  • lol .. well Bmarsh hasn't done much this year.. Even though he leads the team in Receptions. I cant wait til our offense starts clicking ;) ... And lol .. I see your checkin out my page.. You a Yanks fan? .. And Yea.. all meaningless games now But was nice to win :) .. especially against Farnsworth. Atta boy Miranda :P .. Another walkoff win for us.

  • Yeah, your offense isn't being run well. Eddie Royal being used completely wrong. And I'm a Duke fan as well, gotta represent both basketball and football though, no matter how bad the football team is. lol

  • I think our offense is being used okay. Orton is just throwing to the open man most the time. If Royal and Marshall are covered then he passes to someone who isn't. It moves the chains and gets lots of yards. I'd like to get Royal more involved though. And lol Duke.. Nice. I'm more of a pro sports person. I watch college sports and follow it .. But NFL, MLB, NBA .. thats what I love. Its all good though. I like all sports lol.

  • Yeah, but I read that Royal is basically being used like Devin Hester.. a la, just go deep every play and be used as a decoy. Need to get him more involved on screens and shorter routes.

  • 1st if you talking about mcfadden he hasnt come near felixs production. and felix got hurt...

  • If Brad Johnson's sorry ass wasn't behind center for 4 weeks it wouldn't matter dipshit. Didn't catch that? Perhaps I need to s p a c e my words to help you out. Here's an idea: stop arguing against an argument that hasn't even been made and just shut the fuck up.

    How many teams have done what my franchise has...most likely..........N O T Y O U R S.

Stop trying to talk football and take your sorry ass back to sea bitch.

  • dallas blew it. Parcells made the franchise, and jerry tore it down. Too bad

  • Tore it down huh? The NFC East needed Romo to get injured to keep us out of the playoffs and we still almost made it in. And here you are talking like we're the Lions.

Here's an idea: stop talking altogether.

    Thanks.

  • hmm, oh my bad, I just thought since they havent won a playoff game on over a decade that they might be up a creek. But you're right, ya, the east needed Romo to get hurt so the other teams could make it. Ya, I guess that;s why they were blown out by the Eagles the last game of the season with playoffs on the line? Ya, heres an idea: Know what the fuck you're talking about before you start talking shit loser. Go fuck yourself. Thanks!

  • Stick to the Gary Coleman videos fag.

    Wait...

You make a video on Gary Coleman? LoL...

stay the fuck off my video messages bitch...

    "Sea captain"....lol...

Trying to talk shit on a franchise that has done more than your sorry asses. That's like talking shit on Muhammad Ali because he can't fight todays' boxers at his age. Stupid and senseless.. Go favorite another batman pwned video and stay the fuck off my channel dipshit.

    Big D 4 Life.

  • blame the D not Romo for that game

  • no one showed up. that was a team loss.

  • 5 super bowls

  • he is so good he did better than darren mcfaddens punk ass

  • cowboys really kno good drafts

  • felix tha cat jones fixin to be a breakout rb

  • Thank you Cleveland!

  • Felix Jones is great!

  • Felix Jones is a Speedster...he Averaged 8.7 yards per carry in College...''GREAT-PICK BOYS''

  • Yeah, like 10 years ago, I said that they have the history but the Eagles just advanced to their 5th NFC Championship game in the last 8 years...what matters now is what happens now...

  • Save your dumb "what have you done for me lately" logic for coaches. Real fans rep their squad from beginning to end.

You're either a half ass fan that doesn't follow that logic, someone who doesn't know football, or just another idiot that's trying to use dumb shit to support their argument. My vote is all of the above.

Because the only thing 5 championship games magnifies is that you've gotten so close and failed 5 times. Ask the Chargers about that...

    5-0...work on that 1...

  • I'm a half ass fan and an idiot?

I admitted that the Cowboys have a way better history, well really the Eagles don't have a history worth remembering...

But nowadays all you have to look up to is Tony Romo who you aren't getting anywhere with and a whole bunch of has been pro bowlers with bad attitudes...

They clean the records every year and what happened 15 years ago doesn't matter anymore...

Pick, NFC Championship Loss 32 - 25 or lose 44 - 6 in your playoff chance?

  • What happened in the past doesn't matter 2 you because Philly hasn't done JACK SHIT in the past.

And..in case you missed it..your Philly Eagles are out on their asses just like the rest of the NFL teams. No1 accomplished anymore than the Lions.

You want to try & shit on my clubs history of championships while at the same time bragging about another NFC championship appearance?

    LOL...

Pick: 5 WORLD CHAMPS....or your JACK SHIT.

    Sit the f*ck down & shut the f*ck up...lol...

    Big D 4 Life

  • It's about winning it all, not getting 3/4ths of the way. You can whine, nag, & piss in the snow while calling it lemonade, but where it counts, the Cowboys franchise has done more than your team ever has, or ever will.

And to answer your first question...YES. lol...

  • Dude, I have agreed many many times that the Cowboys have a way better history and the Eagles biggest accomplishment was throwing snowballs at Santa, but what I am saying is that the Cowboys aren't going to get back to the Superbowl if they keep Tony Romo and choke everytime they get a chance, If you are a good team you don't let the Eagles beat you 44 - 6...

So they obviously need to make changes...

  • You're only reinforcing MY argument. Of all people to try an talk about "choking" it's an Eagles fan...

I'll use your own logic & words against you. How many times have the Eagles had a chance & choked it away. You have no place to try and spit out this crap to a franchise that's done far more than you & to a QB that has played 39 games... as if his "fate" is set.

You can try & label #9 all you want, but don't try & start declaring your b.s. as some glorified fact because it's not. 5-0

  • Bottom line: worry about your own team & stop criticizing mine. You try & talk like Romo has lost Dallas every big game, when if you head isn't in your ass you'd know better.

You're calling Romo a "certain big-game loser" 4ever while you're on the team with a guy that's by your logic "choked" away more than 5x as many big games.

IF YOU'RE A GOOD TEAM...(recognize those words?) you pull through & succeed on 1 of those chances. Philly didn't. SO THEY OBVIOUSLY NEED 2 MAKE CHANGES...

  • LOL I never said Philly was a good team, I just said the Cowboys aren't either...

Yeah Im an Eagles fan and I know the Eagles choke too but I get used to It after a while, all im doing is pointing out that the Cowboys are bad too lol

Well actually neither of them are bad, just not good enough to make it all the way sadly...

  • Then you should know that it sounds dumb to say anything. You jumped on this video boasting one 44-6 game. My reply was 5-0 boasting what my franchise has done. (Not necessarily what they're doing now.)

So to try and come back at that with things you could say about your own team when no one was calling Dallas awesome right now to begin with is dumb.

  • I know where my team is at now. There's improvements 2 make, but that doesn't mean I'll throw what my franchise has done "under the rug" or what Dallas is capable of doing with the talent they have now under it either.

  • Hooray for compromise!

  • More pointing out the obvious than compromise, lol...

We'll see what happens next season.

Having the pro bowl before the super bowl in Miami's stadium will be interesting...

  • Romo has proven that he doesn't perform well when the chips are on the table and so has McNabb. The Roy Williams the safety lost the playoff game against the Seahawks in 06-07. He gave up two TD's on blown assignments and the game still came down to the wire. Romo fumbled the snap.

  • You're wrong Bevsaw. He missed a snap against seattle. That's the biggest mistake he's made, and really the only one. Any1 who has been watching the games can put just as much, & in fact more on the rest of the team. And every 4gets that Dallas still had a chance after that snap.

It's obvious that the Dallas Cowboys have a team have been screwing up when December rolls along. I'm not about 2 listen 2 any1 point at #9 and label him this or that after so few games.

  • Right on...two years ago it was the defense and the Offensive lines that were no-show in the Giants game for sure. In that game Romo and Barber were the only ones who looked like they wanted to be there.

  • 44 - 6

  • 5 - 0...lol...win something

  • Yeah thats true but if the Cowboys want to win something, *cough* 4 NFC Championship Games *cough* they need to get some team chemistry get rid of the TO's and the Pacmans and build a team instead of trying to pack themselves with pro bowlers...

Perfect example, how did Roy Williams work out..

If Romo could hold onto a football that wouldn't hurt, Cowboys have the history, but as of right now they have work to do...

    26 - 14...

  • First off, I'll take 5 championships over 4 nfc championships anyday... by the way being champion means they already were nfc champs 5 times...lol...

Secondly, Roy still needs a place in the system. It'd be dumb to try and base everything he's capable of on a few weeks, some of which Tony wasn't even in.

And thirdly, this teams attitude doesn't revolve around Pac or T.O. no matter how much the media wants to claim it does. The boys are fine. We're not "gutting" anything.

    FIVE - ZERO

  • Hey mike. 5 Rings, to your Zero, and that's all that matters. Hahahhahaha

  • I hope that Felix will come back into the next season as healthy as before and definitly as productive. Nine yard per carry.. That's almost a first down every time you give him the ball. Epic in the NFL.

  • absolutely...so many "so-called" cowboy fans

are going to whine now and try and say this person needs to go and that coach needs to go and this owner needs to do this, when the truth is...

they need to shut up & rep the star

I'm encouraged with where the cowboys can go next year...gotta stay healthy though...

some of these guys just go down over and over...you can't have that happen and win...

    especially in the nfc east...

but yeah...can't wait 2 see Felix again 4 sure...

  • isnt it ironic peyton hillis (felix jones' backup at arkansas) ended up having the best year

  • In "total" stats maybe, but Felix got almost as much as both of them & in half the attempts, & got a kick return touchdown as well...

Having the same 9 yard rushing average he had in college is "siiiiiick..."

I can't wait 2 see this guy again next year...

  • Thought you left that "owned" remark after saying Hillis had the best year... changed my reply...lol...

  • Dont know why people wanted Mendenhal. We needed a speedy complement to Marion Barber.

When healthy both of them were good together.

  • felix will break any and all records Emmitt SMith holds at dallas

  • agreed

  • Not gonna happen. Look at LT...he even

    fell off...they all do...

I like Felix but he'll have a lot more to show

me before he gets any comparison to

    the greatest of all time.

  • and yet felix jones still leads the league with 8.9 yard per carry neat dat since he only played 4 games is a rookie runs a 4.4 so bump the people dat says felix is a joke

  • felix jones just announced is out for the rest of the season. still had a better season than mendenhall.LOL haha

  • u right

  • hey can you please tell me the name of the song???

    cowboys forever!

  • 'cowboy' by kid rock

    GO DALLAS

  • felix has been kicking ass. rookie of the year

  • Right on lyaro. Felix is shining & that Mr. Every Down Back in Rashard Mendenhall is injured for the season. Some every down back...

Felix Jones was the right guy for the job, & the best guy for the job.

  • The only joke here is your inability to put together a complete sentence.

  • owned

  • tell me ur team and dat would be a joke becuz cowboys rle the entire time no matter wat

  • really .. i mean Really? wth did you go to school of Ebonics?

Hell mcfadden can put a sentence together better than you. and he is horribly at speeches.

  • dallas has a guy who can run people over.. they need the speed on the outside, man i cant wait til they start passing it to jones from the backfield. What a weapon

  • good choice

  • fuck mendenhall cowboys needed speed like jones got first play in the NFL touchdown!!! dragging two defenders in with him the boy got power two. GO COWBOYS!!!!

  • mendenhall is way better he can run people over did u c he was standing and hit got hit hard, and mendenhall got right up, and the guy who hit him stayed down! steeelers! btw the cowboys are an awsome team! it was against the eagles 2day

  • Barber can run people over better, Jones complements Barber better, they played the chargers, not eagles.

  • Do yu still think mendenhall is better? ha ha GO COWBOYS!!!!

  • Hey daburgh1111? How's Mendenhall

doing right now? Oh that's right...

he's injured for the rest of the season

& Felix has been putting up great #'s

every time he touches the ball. End of story.

  • yo im a eagles fan but felix jones is da best rb rookie now he is explosive nd has great speed as much as i hate to admit it but i gotta give dallas props on dis pick he gonna be better den Marion Barber

  • he dumass wheres felix o dats right hes injured and your at the bottom of the division ha ha fags

  • That's funny coming from an Eagles fan...

You're talking like Philly has done shit.

You can't even hold true to your own words. You were just kissin' Felix's ass 2 weeks ago claiming him better than MB3. Here's an idea, just shut the f*ck up because you've already proven that you don't know jack sh!t...

  • alboplay1989... do you know how stupid you sound when you speak... why dont you go back to high school for another four years and learn proper grammer

  • ahha you moron. take every player form the eagles put them in a lineup with Felix. and let EVERY other nfl team choose one person to take. know who it would be? Felix. know how many teams were hoping he would drop down further for them to pickup? the eagles Remind me of South Carolina with SPurrier. always thinking they will become something LOL

  • I Hope Felix does good, i still wish we would of got antione Cason and mike Jenkins, or Mendonhall and jenkins

  • You Mendenhall people I swear...Cowboys don't need an every down back, we've already got him, and his name is Marion the mother fuckin' Barbarian!!!! We needed speed, and that's why Felix Jones was picked. Excellent call by Dallas, and the word out of Oxnard, CA is Felix Jones is pretty special. Fasten your seat belts people! Here come da Boyzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!

  • Right on "Doc." People need 2 wake up & realize that Felix Jones was the best "fit" for the Dallas Cowboys. & 2 state the obvious, Felix Jones has been the most impressive rookie running back this year so far. He's been explosive out of the backfield & has an the special teams abilities that none of the other top draft picks @ running back come close to having. He's not just the right guy for the job, but the perfect guy for it. & Choice is no slouch either. Big D in 43!
  • I have to say Felix Jones is great in Dallas. I gotta admit though, I flip-flopped on the choice for Dallas's 22nd pick. I was all for Felix Jones at first, but then I saw what Chris Johnson brought to the table and I was blown away.

I really wanted Dallas to get Johnson because of his "crazy" speed and agility, but when the Titans shocked everyone by picking Johnson over Sweed, it became apparent who Dallas was gonna pick and look what happened...

  • we already got mike jenkins

  • one of the reasons they got jones is because the owner jerry jones went to arkansas and he really wanted a arkansas guy so it was either darren or felix

  • Uh, you do realize McFadden and Felix were the top 2 RBs in college right?

  • Who gave a thumbs down to LIONS33football's comment?

Tashard Choice is a pretty damn good player. He go overlooked, and I'd love to see him play some this year.

  • I won't lie..I kinda was hoping at first that they would've taken Mendenhall since he was available..but now that I think about the pick and why they got Jones..I think it was a good call. Felix is faster and I believe he will work better in the tandem backfield w/ Barber. I just think about Felix's jukes and lightning speed on the edges, and Marion's uncanny ability to break at least 2 tackles on every run while he rams over people..its gonna be great!

  • yeah and i think he averaged more yardds per carry than mendenhall. i was thinking the exact thing you were. i tink he might even be better than darren mcfadden. go cowboys

  • why are we forgetting about tashard choice?

  • prolly because he really only proved himself as a senior while felix was solid all around... but either really would have worked for me

  • He looks like a pro back.

  • yeah he does

  • jones leads the nation with 9.1 per carry

  • lets not forget about tashard choice!

  • it´s not that i´m just saying,i haven´t heard a lot of talk about tashard choice, only felix jones. i just said dat cause i haven´t heard too much about him when he is a good maybe great running back

  • FELIXXXXXX

  • you everyone scream even before they said who they drafted go cowboys going to the superbowl this year

  • Go Hawgs.

  • Hell yeah

  • First!
