And I despise commerce and how money takes over the minds of society its sickening and I have to get as far away possible from america I cant stand it here..
I think ~ 95 % of all people around the world will no capitalism - & the greatest probleme is the most understand not what is capitalism ! Marx was no a idiot - He was "the Einstein" of Politic Science to his time .... - but today is Marx "out" - why ?
@knightLynderic okay gilmour taught barrett alot of what he knew about guitar, but without syd pink floyd wouldnt of had the inspiration to make those albums, nor the motivation to even keep going. Dont fuck with a real floydian, read up on something before you say shit you have no clue about.
Syd Barrett was the first Pink - that is no the question - the question is a other ... outside with Syd was PF commerce - inside NO! in the books of "manager & other commerce prophets" was Syd the first Pink - Commerce outside with Syd - that was the idea to destroyed Syd B. - ... tnx PF Fans - but Syd was the first for the music of Pink Floyd - Reality to say is no bad - Syd was the first Pink ...
i must say - my east german is a bad english - but Syd B. was the first Pink - outside of commerce & commerce have destroyed Syd with Pf in the first of time ...
Syd was the door to Gil - a little door helper - but Syd was the opener & this outside of commerce .... Gil was the only of Rest with understand Syd ... the history of PF - sorry - It is a history against commerce only in 2 minutes , or ?
Clear proof that Pink Floyd had no idea what to do after Syd left! A whimsical nod back to their first album. Still, I've always thought this a lovely song nevertheless.
the probleme was commerce - no my probleme - i am a east german fighter against commerce - i am 50 - but i will not that my daughters & sons go in this capitalism mud no more have a chance to livin ...
Great song composed by Waters. But i have to say when this version was recorded for BBC, june 25 1968 Syd was already out of the band, since march that same year. One of the voices clearly heard is Gilmour's, apart from the very usual then Rick's and Roger's. I don´t know when the single track was officially recorded, and if Syd took part, but I insist, this version has no dear Syd in it.
It's amazing. Just imagine turning on the radio and hearing something like this. It must have been a hell of a thing growing up in the 60's. Nothing around now can hold a candle to this, and it was recorded in 1968!!! Amazing.
@mrmonkeyisland1 If you really believe that there's no good music, you're naive and ignorant. Music changes, it's what Pink Floyd did. People said they were shit at the time because they were different, and they revolutionized music. Today, music is changing. It's different from the music from 1968. That era will not come again. And yes, there is good music today. You just have to look for them. Don't look for them on Top 40 radio stations though. Look around the Internet. There you go.
@tele757 Neutral Milk Hotel, Animal Collective, Matthew Good, Radiohead, and so many others. Go develop a musical taste that's not so bloody exclusive.
This song does not have Syd in it, and you uploaded it udo...
You really saying you think this song was made for money?

Más allá de los temas de la mejor época de Floyd ('70) temas como este también se vuelven obras magnas. Alucinante

@AngryRantingNerd
prove it. The bands now just rehash old stuff, albeit 99.9% of that time in a second rate way. There are no new great bands -period!
except Mother Hips, Black Crowes but they are not new
