My uncle has been serving the Canadian military for close to 30 years. Him and an amarican soldier were at the same diner in Holland, my uncle was served immediatley when they saw the Canadian badge. The american soldier was never served at all.
My friend is going off over seas now. And i promised him that if anything happens to him that i'll take care of his family for him. I hope nothing happens to him because he's like a brother to me. Good Luck Blake.

@Alice16Forever Being an infantry soldier is a blast. It can be pretty boring when you aren't on a course though. Most times it sucks, because all we do is sit around, work out, etc. But I'm Airborne, so I get to jump out of planes. I wouldn't recommend being an officer, it depends what you like...Majority of officers sit in a building doing paperwork. You can be a NCM, be in the shit with the rest of us, and still be a leader. No, I've never been to Afghanistan. 2RCR is going in Feb. Good luck!

@PotterPower1997- I'm an airmen of the RCAF and I was stationed at CFB Trenton, and everyday I was there, I could see C-130's land in our airport. And everyday there would be soldiers coming and going, and everyday it is tragic to see how many come back K.I.A. but it amazes me to see all of you supporting us. Bravo Zulu!!!

@PotterPower1997- I'm an airmen of the RCAF and I was stationed at CFB Trenton, and everyday I was there, I could see C-130's land in our airport. And everyday there would be soldiers coming and going, and everyday it is tragic to see how many come back K.I.A. but it amazes me to see all of you supporting us. Bravo Zulu!!!

@TheAsianManiac I always support our armed forces for i know that they are doing whats right. they give people in other parts of the world the hope that there will be a new, better day. Because when you have lost hope you have lost everything and the Canadian Forces are giving back that hope. So thank you for what you are doing.

I feel a strange but good sense of brotherhood with soldiers. Dead and alive i feel like they are my brothers. No matter the country. If they fought for the good i feel like they are my comrades to. And whenever a brother dies. I sit and i cry and think of them. Even those whose faces i dont know. And one day when i do join the army i can safely call them my brothers. My Brothers In Arms. RIP comrades. The war is over and you have done your job. Done it well! *Salute* Proud to be Canadian!

tears roll down my face seeing the pictures and hearing the words. my brother is in and my father was in for 29 years he has severe PTSD. this video is great. our soldiers our heroes are truly amazing people. thank you to everyone who has served keeping this the greatest country ever
