i had final cut pro 7 for about a month...just a couple weeks ago i tried using it and it wouldn't open....I'm pretty sure it had to do with an update.....I'm reinstalling all of this and hopefully it'll work again......just remember, do not let your computer update this program.

@igottashit right click on the download and click show in finder. then simply edit the name and delete the ".txt" from the end. it should now be a .torrent file that you can open in vuze or utorrent.

Hi, I downloaded FCP torrent and during the install I run into a problem I was hoping you could help out with.

Hey, I hastily followed your directions and failed to read the part where it says, 'MAKE SURE YOU TYPE IN THE SN LETTER BY LETTER...' The installation failed and when i try it again(I deleted everything and then downloaded the torrent again) it doesn't give me a chance to put in a serial number again, and gives me the same error message. @kemtkid if it won't let you tick the final cut pro install box, it may be because you have final cut X installed, i uninstalled X, installed 7, then X afterwards, thumbs up so others can see!

I succesfully downloaded it but itstopped working one day. i don't know why so i COMPLETELY delete it and re-install it. I re-installed it, it installs successfully and all but when I open it, the icon appears on the dock, the small white window with the FC icon opens up with all the fast letters in the middle of the screen and then when it leaves the the final cut program windows do not open. The icon just disappears from the dock again. PLEASE HELP it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Then under name and extension, remove .txt so its just .torrent

then go to 'open with' and select uTorrent

@CreativeSoftDesigns I had the same problem - I think it only works for Final Cut Pro and no other app - so drag and drop all the apps that the file was trying to install eg Color, Motion etc in to the trash - install again but only tick FCP. That worked out for me - only problem is that you won't have the other goodies :-( but hey at least you will have FCP 7 :-)

@Shary999 that happens to me ALL the time. You need to either change the extension on the file to .torrent (example.torrent) and then either drag it onto the Utorrent icon on your dock or go to Utorrent select add and find the torrent file. If that doesnt work soz
