@OriginalBitt No, Tonks wasnt depressed because of Sirius, it was because she was in love with Lupin, and Im pretty sure he wasnt an 'emo kid' for not reason because one of his oldest friends was dead and he also loved Tonks, but didnt want to accept it because he thought she could find someone better, PLUS he was probably afraid about the War that was coming up. SO... yeah... I have nothing else to say except that the song is awesome :)

@Padfoot74 It's on JKR's website... and while I, too, love Sirius, I have to agree. The dynamics in the 6th and 7th books would have been completely different if Mr. Weasly had died. I think Ron would have acted completely differently (remember how he shouted at Harry that he didn't have to worry because his parents were dead?) and it would have been a lot different.
