I've seen Nightwish with Tarja a few times live, and it always got me. Deep inside. It even got my husband who is really not into girly gothic kinda stuff, so there must be summat to it in my book.

i was more than sorry to see Tarja leave because her voice guided me through some tough times, pathetic as it is.

Without slagging Annette down, she will never do the trick for me, but then again, I'm just an old woman set in my ways.

I wish them all the best, but I prefer to dwell in the past.

I get more and more depressed when I listen to Nightwish... They were here a couple years ago, when Tarja was still wit them... Closest show was in Wisconsin, I had to miss it :'[

The difference between Tarja singing this song and Annette singing it is Tarja can sing the ending because she was trained whereas Annette has to strain her voice by screaming to reach the high note.

For me te difference is... Oh well. I don't want to listen to Anette singing this, she just has not the energy and the voice to at least come close to what Tarja does on stage. Especially this song. So wild, so wonderful.

Why do people always compare tarja with Anette -.-? They're two diffrent types of vocalists, so it*s actually impossible to compare them with each other.

Nightwish will rule anyway (hey, they got Marco (Hail Tarot \m/)) Tarja is great as well in her solo career. They'll find their own way, no matter what is now, or what happend. Im very happy about Anette, and the next album will be great. Of course, also the Nightwish before '05 was great, but the Nightwish after '05 is great as well.

Slaying The Dreamer is one of my favourites. And Nightwish was Nightwish with Tarja. I can´t say Anette is bad and Tarja was good, because Anette isn´t the opera singer. Of course she is not Tarja-2! She is singing too very well, example many of us can´t sing so. But Nightwish´s singer HAVE to be an opera singer. It´s sad to say, but I afraid - when ended the last concert with Tarja, (in Finland, 21.10.2005) was beginning the end of Nightwish. Of course I hope I´m wrong, but...

I saw a vid of Anette singing this song, and she screaming at the end of the song, which is something that I feel she does a lot and she shouldn't. Anette's going to ruin her vocals if she keeps screaming at some parts

I think the same way... i was just hearing Anette's version of the song, & i wanted to kill myself (sorry if i'm being hard, but it's the truth)... she was screaming, just as dry as it sounds... she.was.SCREAMING... how i hate it... she wasn't singing at all... thank god someone uploaded this one. Tarja has an amazing voice, it gave me shivers when she was singing the last part! god! i love her voice! ;)
