  • Sounds like People's Provincial 203 (AYR299T) with its lovely whine on tick over (sadly scrapped many years ago in 1995). By god I miss these. We have one sat in our yard and I wish I could take it out in service as it would make a change from driving boring Dennis Darts.

  • @1100HondaCB

Hi, yep it sure makes some strange noises lol. With the engine, gearbox, power steering pump and compressor all doing their thing it gets almost musical sometimes. Almost! Is the one in your yard a runner? Maybe they'd let you take it out on a club running day or something?

  • @badbadbus The one sat in our yard (HOR413L) was parked there a week ago and is owned by an enthusiast. It was moved to another location on Sunday and is a runner. I very much doubt they would trust anyone, including me with it.

  • Can i buy your bus for my museum in Denmark?

  • @Kitfugl

Hi, sorry but it's not for sale, try British Bus Sales. It's where I got mine from, and they've still got a few in their yard.

  • @badbadbus Hi sir

I have an idea. I will contact you soon via message.

  • Looks like you've got a good bus there. I drove a couple of mk2s in 2002 just before they were withdrawn from service. The mk1 was such a handsome looking vehicle. I am back driving buses, this time with Stagecoach and I would love my job if I could drive these instead of the plastic Dennis Darts. That 510 sound is music to my ears.

  • Very nice bus you've got there.. Good luck with the renovation!

  • Awesome video sir! Seems you've managed to get one in top condition!

  • @mattenigmaevolution

Thanks Matt, this bus only did 15 years service before being handed over to St Johns ambulance, which probably explains its condition!

  • @badbadbus You're welcome buddy! My friend maybe interested in looking at this. he worksd for Brighton & Hove...Baruimenema22 on here.. really good mate of mine.!! Sounds like its been well looked after

  • @badbadbus Only fifteen years service? Some of the buses I drive are less than ten years old and are already tatty in places. I surpose it depends how thorough the maintenance regime is.
