I'm from the US and of course did not see soviet animation until after youtube. I'm a Marxist (wiped out in the US but there are still some of us) and have enjoyed this and other products of the USSR in accord with my interest in learning from socialist history. I come back to and enjoy this animation and poetry and share it with some friends. Thanks for posting this.

I described this to a friend and he thinks this might be something he saw as a boy in Helsinki. He refuses to let me show it to him because he's afraid seeing it again will ruin his perfect, childhood memory of it.
