The vast majority of people oppose terrorism which is what the war in Afghanistan is all about. It's not easy to explain how our involvement influences our lives but it does. What do you think the Taliban would do if they were in charge ?. 75% of terrorist activity originates from that part of the world. Unpopular for those who win power by showing deference to Islam like Galloway but true. Personally I find him highly objectionable - an intellectual lightweight and self publicist.
