Can i just mention to all the people who keep referring to this game as being like Doom, Doom was originally supposed to be the videogame of Aliens, but due to complications they had to cancel it, however they kept the fundemental idea and changed various other parts of it in order to save and then make money still, so actually Doom was Aliens. I'm not hating or anything and if someone can prove me wrong on this feel free to let me know, im just pretty sure that my point is the truth here. :)

I do beleive gearbox when they say the game is nearly finished, but no funding means no distribution. if you want a Col marines, BUY AvP3. If that game fails, well...

That's not what Gearbox said at E3. They said to expect Colonial Marines during the last quarter of 2011 or the first quarter of 2012. I'm just telling you what came from the horses mouth. Of course this could change. I wouldn't believe any release date that a video game company gives. The only solid information that can be found on Colonial Marines is that it's not cancelled along with a few dated screenshots. Screenshots that were released before a new development team was assigned to the game
