Hey ED, its me again, I think you are doing a fine job. Im thinking the slide area you are working is the one that took out the road? They rebuilt that part so im assuming its a few miles upstream past the bridge at fly cr? Would really like to pick you for info and get headed in the right direction, thanks! Im up on the NorthFork Siouxon cr. today!
I am not a geologist or ever claimed to be one, I just like it and other earth sciences. I am wrong as often as I am right. I just try to imply what I think might be the reasons and call it from there, take a some what educated guess and go from there. I do know this though, that is a landslide area and that is not all glacial til and those strata's are old stream channels.
I am always learning and that is on my own. Thanks for watching, sorry you did not like it.
There were two roads washed out in this landslide, Up higher about a 1/4 mile and not far from where I shot the video. I am not sure if there was a bridge or a Calvert on the lower but I am sure it was a culvert on the upper.
@tdz61 Ed I'm lookig forward to getting down to that area in a month or so. would like to touch base with ya if we can figure out how to do it. old99hag

Hey Kevin, thanks man. Yeah that slide is that one big one about a mile and a half or so past fly creek.
I was there last summer while I was home for my son's wedding, saw they fixed the road. how did you do up north on NF Siouxon cr?

Looks like a good spot for a small back hoe & trommel.

Thanks for the video. I am astonished at how much material was washed down by that flood. Did it take out a bridge or two in the process?
