  • to duplicate the track .......I sounds all the same time : (

  • "Clicking the right button while still holding the left one down" (@1:50) isn't possible with Apple's Mighty Mouse. Is there any other way to get this functionality?

  • @fxpansion, Please tell me if i can use the Qwerty Computer keyboards to trigger the pads .I would buy Geist if it is capable of hitting the PC keyboards to make beats.

  • @plastadoproject Geist doesn't have that built in. You could use it in a host which supports that (Ableton Live for example).

  • @rozz3r thanks for the reply

  • Want to use Geist's step sequencer but arrange in Ableton. Basically I want to make patterns and be able to drag them onto a track(s) in Ableton.. the same way Logic works with Ultrabeat. Is this possible? I have dragged patterns onto the Geaist midi track, but sometimes they playback and sometimes they don't, I can't really figure it out. Any insight would be huge.

  • Please Explain Layers vs Pads , i have watched the videos 3 times .

  • @JSprayaEntertainment ok - Pads are your basic unit of "playing", ie each Pad has one track in the sequencer, and one midi note associated with it. Each Pad can hold within it up to eight Layers, which are individual samples with their own filter & envelope settings. So each time you play a note, you can be triggering up to eight individual layers of sound. Does that help?

  • @FXpansion Yes Very Nice , Now I understand the Layer mixer vs the Pad mixer

  • i like to use tis un cubase only i need to load a kick, snare,hi hits etc..etc.. i dont need the sequencer from Geist!!! u can Drag and Drop quick right in to the 16 pads slayers? i like very much the browser is very powerfull for search files and sonds!! :) peace......

  • This looks awesome.

Ever since I moved from FL studio to Cubase, Ive been looking for a way to integrate a step sequencer into my Workflow...GURU was a step in that direction, but it lacked many of the tools that FL had. Like the ability to make those pitched snare rolls with a few simple mouse clicks

This seems to be what I've been looking for. Its described at the 3:00 mark

  • I like how the programming is laid out, you guys have done your homework. I have a few questions.

-How does right click, left click translate to macs?

-Have quantizing options changed from Guru?

-Is it possible to change the number of steps by equally subdividing (as opposed to extending the length) , i.e, going from a 16th note pattern to a 32th note pattern.?

  • Really cool choices available in the automation lanes. Limit of four lanes per sound/sample in a pattern should be enough; too many choices and it all goes a bit ,'What day is it?.......'

  • @Kkidzz Thanks :) The 4 lane limit is only for what you can SEE at any one time. You can actually automate every available parameter at once if you're feeling particularly sadistic :D
