When compared to T1 and T2, the plot and dialog of Salvation leaves much to be desired. It is a convolution of ideas that where cut and pasted from previous terminator movies, without any attempt to preserve the cannon left by James Cameron. The movie also borrows many ideas from films like Mad-MAx, I Am Legend, Independence Day, Apocalypse Now, Children of Men, etc... Which also seem like a copy and paste job.
That being said... it has great action and some innovative sequences.

Terminator 1 is still my favourite, no matter what. And ill probably hate this one because Christian Bale fails at acting and they made Kyle Reese look like a bitch

I am not of legal age to see the others since they are R-rated. But I believe this one had more intense action and should satisfy Terminator fans by how many different Terminators there were.

Well, the third one was just FULLY ACTION PACKED, throughout..there wasn't even anytime for acting it was all action. Story wise it was really poor.

Good Review, but I am a TRUE fan back from early 90s (born 1993..my dad got me into it...lol)..so from a fans perspective, i need to know how this stacks up against the previous 3 movies, Especially the 2nd one.

The crowd was split between this one and the 2nd one on being the best. This one was about after Judgement Day.
