  • I think Lynn is as smooth and efficient as watered silk. Lynn had to move quickly because Julia (who basically is serving as a big kitchen obstacle) is not helping.

    Lynn told u why she blanched the orange zest- so it wouldn't impart bitterness to the sauce. You can't strain out bitterness.

  • I love Lynne on the Splendid Table, but in this program she comes off as frenetic and slightly pretentious. And why blanche the orange zest if the marinade will be cooked in the oven along with the roast?
