@CloudNightmare Nope this was on freeware Fraps, which is why I kept having to restart recording every 30 seconds, and also why there's a Fraps watermark at the top. On future vids, I started to use "Full Video Converter Free" to crop out the watermark, and my plan was to save up & buy the full Fraps. Unfortunately, the more current versions of Fraps slowed Façade down to a crawl, so now I do everything with the freeware version of Bandicam. Still has a watermark, but no time limit or lag. :)

@BADASSMANDO Absolutely, the 64 will run it splendidly, but it has to be encapsulated as a "final" class and pass strictly by value. Ideally a Timex Sinclair virtual machine will give you the best runtime environment while prohibiting further class inheritance and protecting the data/methods. In an absolute pinch, you can get away with a Coleco Adam setup, which, in defense of its higher price point to the C64, comes standard with the tape drive, printer, and Buck Rogers: Planet of Zoom.

@CameraStudios550 Sorry to hear that. You're not alone, though. Many people have reported that problem, and you can find lots of examples (of varying severity) of it on youtube. I've just posted a link to InteractiveStory's troubleshooting page, which may not fix your specific problem, but it does offer one possible fix related to your video card's "antialiasing and anisotropic filtering" settings.

It couldn't hurt to try v1.1 if that's now the one you have.

My Fraps is unregistered, which means I can only record 30 seconds at a time, so while I was playing the game I had to keep track of the time, hit F9 before 30secs were up, give it a second to save that segment to disk, and then hit F9 again to get it started recording again.

The only way to know it has stopped is your framerate counter turns from yellow to red, so I missed entirely it at 3:47.

@SupraNovaa If you can't see Trip right that moment, don't stay in that particular corner for more than a second. About one second should be about all you need to get him to lock in on that spot. Then you can wait longer in the front corners when you can actually see him coming. :)

It all has to do with the game engine's "pathway planning" for the AI characters, so the trick is to find a place where you can stand still long enough for Trip to lock a path, and then be able to run over to another spot and do the same thing. These four corners seem to work best because you can see Trip coming well before he's close enough to catch you.
