Respectfully, i'm afraid that DW6 is the worst out of the DW games that I've played. I can understand the need to make significant changes from 5,4 and other predecessors, but they took away alot of the good aspects in 6.
I wonder why they're trying to go Historically Accurate when originally they didn't. Is Koei having regrets from their original??? I'm not sure but wouldn't it be logical to continue with whats always worked? Honestly I kinda enjoyed running around with a broad sword being held with one hand. When logically it ways more than himself xP
Can't wait for Warriors: Legends of Troy to come out. Trailer looks good. And at least their will be gore and it will get an M-Rating. Its nice that Koei is letting a side company change the look and style of this type of game play.

They should give original weapons back, ease down on the magic bullshit, let troops come at you in masses instead of fighting them 5 at a time[it seems like], and give variety of maps or sub plots.

My guess is that Koei gave Guan Ping a Halberd instead of a Zweihander because Guan Yu has a Pike himself. If he wants to be like his father then he might as well have the same weapon as him.

they should have kept the looks and the weapons, and used this combat method only give each character an ORIGINAL fighting style. still, i enjoy dw6. Too bad i only got the pc demo with lu xun...
I think it was something along the lines that they were getting close to the release date but half the characters weren't done, so they cloned them. It must be said that there's no actual point playing as the clones, but the different looks are a nice change

Put it this way, Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Jian, Sima Yi, Zhuge Liang, Zhao Yun, Dian Wei, Lu Bu, and Gan Ning are the only ones that dont have cloned moves. Their moves and weapons are uniquie, whereas the others like Guan Ping and Lu Meng, are the same. KOEI went a bit off course with this game, some major downsides, but this is still great fun ^_^

Guan ping, Lu Meng, Ling Tong, and Xu Huang all have the same moves and type of weapon. Atleast their weapons have pretty much the best moveset in the game.

This game looks horrible....But being the huge ass dynasty rotk and samurai warriors fan I am, I will still get it and like it none theless. Guan Ping is my favorite Shu Kingdom General in Dynasty Warriors and regardless of change he shall still be my favorite.

Their actual history based weapons, would be mostly spears cos all general use spears, halberds in wars. They rarely use swords in front-line wars.

ok this is alot..
Guan ping, Lu Meng, Ling Tong, and Xu Huang all have the same moves and type of weapon. Atleast their weapons have pretty much the best moveset in the game.

well personally i prefer the base spear 1 (ma chao, zhang he...) cuz its way faster butyeah its better then the swords XD or hammer

guan ping in dw5 was my favorite i had him max as in highest the bar allows everything secret wepon and 3rd wepon atk20 but now i dont know

This game looks horrible....But being the huge ass dynasty rotk and samurai warriors fan I am, I will still get it and like it none theless. Guan Ping is my favorite Shu Kingdom General in Dynasty Warriors and regardless of change he shall still be my favorite.
