Anyone know the SND tune at 0.35? Is it one off the 4,5,6 release earlier in the year? I saw them last week and it was awesome. Robmcg10: the whole point in SND is that the music doesn't really go anywhere. Why should all music end in a dance? Why should it evoke traditional emotional responses? I think these are the kind of questions they like to raise. It's a kind of anti-performance. Nevertheless, I always find my head nodding and my feet shuffling to their music!
I thought SND were poor. Sounds like they played exactly the same set every night of the tour, and unlike Autechre, they were unable to give their live show a rave-feel. I imagine their stuff might be alright on a cd, but when you're in a club, you shouldn't play that stuff. I just stood their watching for 90% of it. The other ten per cent it might actually have gone somewhere. In fact, the show I went to, the only hour that was really excellent was Autechre's hour.

no, at 00:33 is SND, not Autechre. SND are great.

Autechre is included in this video (see 00:33). Shame they started exactly in the same way in Katowice yesterday. A small detail.

Yeah 00:33 is SND.

It was an awesome party. Too bad that Autechre (which gave a set that night as well) isn't included. Chris Clark ruled as well btw.
